I hired this lawyer to represent me in a child support modification case. I sent a $2000.00 retainer and was charged for every Email and phone call regardless of context. I traveled from northern Michigan to Alabama to attend the hearing. At about 9pm the night before the hearing I was contacted by a... lawyer I had never spoken to before and whom knew nothing about my case. I had to try to explain everything to him as this was a somewhat complicated situation due to one of my adult children having a disability. The hearing was ultimately postponed for a few months and nothing was resolved. I was then told that not only had my retainer been used up but I owed hundreds of dollars. I feel cheated and would advise anyone thinking of hiring them to look elsewhere for someone that actually cares about their clients needs and takes some time to explain things. I had very little communication at all and I was afraid to ask questions due to the ridiculous fees for Emails and phone calls. I would be happy to provide the invoices I received to verify my statements are true.
