DUI

Was arrested for a DUI and other charges. This was my first time ever getting in trouble with the law and I was terrified on what was going to happen to me. I contacted Krep's and they explained everything to me and walked me through the whole process. I did everything they asked from community servi...ce and AA meetings. It took about 8 months but they got all of the charges dismissed and nothing went on my record. I have learned my lesson and am very thankful I was with the help of Krep's Law Firm to get a 2nd chance.

Reckless driving

I have had many tickets in my 24 years of driving. I have never fought any of them. This cop gave me a bogus reckless driving ticket, I have a C.D.L. so this would kill me. I searched on line and found Kreps. I had a few things I had to do and left it to them. They called me and let me know what was ...going on through out the case. They got the case dismissed with no fines at all,not even court cost. These are the people yuo need to talk to if you are in trouble. Thank you Kreps Law firm.

Professional and Easy to Work with

Got a Speeding ticket in Alabama, contacted him firm a day before my court date. they Made the Whole process(documents, legal stuff) Very easy and fast too.Got the Ticket waived with no points (just the court fee).i would definitely recommenced.

An absolute pro...

Wow! Mr. Kreps with the KO in the 12th! I'm an over the road truck driver with a perfect safety record. Mr. Kreps saved my job! I've been driving for many years. The company I work for has one of the lowest CSA scores in the U.S. Any truck driver in the modern era knows the importance of CSA. If ...I lose this case....I lose my job with this carrier. I don't know of a carrier in the U.S. with a better CSA score than the company I work for. Everything was on the line. I don't have to legally report something like this unless I'm found guilty. They make us self report every couple of months in addition to whatever they might review internally. I received a citation for failure observe a traffic control device in a small municipality of northwest Alabama. It sounds very cut and dry, but it was actually very complex. I was cited for failing to detour away from a bridge. This is a bridge that is over 15 feet high. I have crossed it with a 13'6 tractor trailer combo hundreds of times. They had construction going on this bridge on the day I was cited. As soon as I crossed the bridge; from one municipality into another, there was an officer looking for trucks, RVs, large campers. I was pulled over and gave a citation. This case went to trial. In small municipalities; everyone is appointed by the city council, so they are very loyal to each other. It's a good ole boy network. So during the hiring process, I had strongly considered hiring a local attorney. I spoke to several. I hired Mr. Kreps because I've never seen a perfect AVVO rated attorney. Despite his perfect rating, I was still very concerned that the DA and judge would not take kindly to "the outsider" who had never tried a case in this particular municipality. I was a very "rigorous" client. Mr. Kreps and his office would likely agree with that statement. At one point in the legal process, I actually told Mr. Kreps that I'm done with the case and I'm done with this small town charade. Lol. I was done! Mr. Kreps did not accept this and got me to stay the course. I was found guilty at the good ole boy trial. :( I was FURIOUS on the inside...and maybe I showed it a bit on the outside as well. Lol. I said to myself, "I knew it....I knew this would be the outcome in this small town". Mr. Kreps told me to remain calm and go outside. I was making my way over to the DA to get a polite few jabs in before I left. Mr. Kreps came outside and told me..."Hey man....don't worry ok...I'll tell you when you need to worry." Mr. Kreps got my guilty verdict reversed to not guilty. He did so without me having to go through the appeals process. Verdict reversed on the verdict reconsideration filling he submitted! I have had many experiences with attorneys, but verdict reversals??? None better than Mr. Kreps. He's like bringing a late 80's Mike Tyson to a fight on your behalf. Good luck with that :) I was writing him notes during the trial and sliding them to him while he was going to war for me....he crumbled em up aggressively...lol....that's code for..."Not now chief.....I'm in the zone." Mr Kreps is the cat's pajamas and the bee's knees. Love that guy. He is a highly intelligent and methodical attorney. Don't take chances. Hire a guy that really knows how to play the game. I would urge ANYONE who finds themselves in a legally precarious situation (in the state of Alabama) to call Kreps Law Firm immediately. They have a very methodical process to winning. Just follow that process. Thanks Mr. Kreps! You saved more than Christmas at my house. :)

Alabama Board of Nursing investigation

I have been an RN for 37 years without a single blemish on my records. In June of this year, a LPN I supervised made an accusation that I had directed her to cut a patient's surgically implanted feeding tube to repair a defect in the tube. This was an absolute lie designed to throw blame on someone o...ther than herself as this action did cause serious harm to the patient, requiring major surgery and a lengthy hospital stay. I was suspended indefinitely pending an internal investigation. About a week and half later I learned my employer had filed a complaint against me with the Alabama Board Of Nursing and I had a message from an investigator with the Board. I was devastated, scared, angry and absolutely had no idea what the right course would be for me to deal with this situation. I knew the Board could take many types of actions up to and including the loss of my nursing license if I couldn't prove my innocence in this matter. In the 37 years I have practiced full time as a RN I have never had any type of complaint or concern voiced by my employers, the Board or anyone else. I had an exemplary record throughout all this time, but how do you prove you didn't tell someone something? I am 50% of my families income. My husband is also an RN, but the loss of my nursing license would seriously ruin our financial situation and our ability to keep our home, etc. This was terrifying to me.This was basically her word against mine! After much researching of attorneys my husband and I decided to contact Krepps. As soon as I began a conversation with Vickie I knew I had called the right law firm. She gave me so much confidence that Krepp's was knowledgeable about dealing with the Board of Nursing and had successfully defended many other nurses. After a lengthy conversation, I was convinced I needed Krepps to handle this for me. Yes, they were expensive. More than some of the other firms we had contacted but I felt the extra money would guarantee me the best possible defense. Krepps didn't make any promises that they couldn't keep. They were clear with me that there were no guarantees in this situation, but that they would be doing everything they possibly could do to get me a successful verdict. Vickie explained that the whole process could take as long as a year. And the first thing that would happen would be that they would gather as much information about my case as possible, and the first step the Board would initiate would be a hearing to decide if this case had to go further. I never heard directly from the Board again, Krepps immediately notified them that Krepps was representing me and would be dealing with everything for me. Imagine my shock and delight when on Dec. 21st after Krepps only having the case for about 6 months and WITHOUT a hearing, I got a call from Caroline, an attorney with Krepps stating she had been dealing back and forth with the Board for some time and had just been notified that the Board had CLEARED me of any wrongdoing!!!! Within a few days the Alabama Board of Nursing sent me the official letter stating that I was cleared and there was no disciplinary action to be taken against me! This entire situation could have cost me my nursing license, my ability to work in the profession that I excel at and have loved all of my life and could have cost us our home and lifestyle. Krepps saved all of that for me, for us. We will be forever grateful to them for all their hard work, all the time and effort put into my case and a wonderfully successful verdict. I would highly recommend Krepps to anyone needing the assistance of an attorney without any hesitation. Thank you so much Krepps!
