I am a trial attorney and a veteran of the U.S. Army Rangers. I provide experienced representation in civil and criminal trial litigation. I am very serious about producing solutions for my clients' problems. My firm represents clients in trial in family and divorce law cases, personal injury and auto accident cases, maritime law, all civil litigation and criminal defense.
I am a former insurance defense attorney. I oftentimes know how the other side will litigate a personal injury or accident case.
During law school, I was slected to clerk for one of the most prominant family law attorneys in South Florida. After law law school, while working for insurance defense law firms, I honed my litigation skills while representing Fortune 500 companies in complex personal injury and wrongful death cases.
I am known for providing personal attention, with an emphasis on open communication. The best way for me to meet his clients' needs is for my clients to be open and honest with me. In return, I diligently respect the attorney-client privilege. My trustworthy services, along with my availability after hours and on the weekends, are why clients refer me to friends and loved ones.
In addition to family law, divorce law, civil litigation, personal injury and maritime injury cases, I also represent military contractors injured in Iraq and Afghanistan in Defense Base Act claims.

What I appreciate about Nies is that, whether from his inherent nature or from his military background, he seems to have a "see-the-hill-take-the-hill" approach. Too many PI attorney just settle their cases, and survive by volume. That's fine sometimes. But even Nies' clients who settle their cases should benefit from Nies' willingness to take it all the way.

Timothy Nies is an exceptional attorney, fine military veteran, and a credit to the legal community. He has worked tirelessly for years improving his skill in the areas of personal injury law. I would recommend him highly to anyone seeking competent counsel for their matter.
