This guy is horrible! He is condescending, rude, and unprofessional. He talks about God and abortion and other inappropriate subjects in his office. My daughter spent thousands of dollars for representation, and he actually told her that her case was going to be a sh!t show and that she would lose w...hen actually she had all the evidence against her babies father, who is in contempt, at least on three separate occasions . He canceled an hour before the scheduled court date, he demanded more money actually refusing to answer even the simplest of questions while shoving a credit card machine in front of her demanding more money. I couldn’t believe what I was witnessing! I looked at my daughter and said we are out of here and as we turned to leave, he was yelling get out, get out! This person is not normal He has obvious issues I wouldn’t hire him to represent my dog. Beware!

I hired Thomas Colter and wish I wouldn’t have. Don’t fall for the flashy office and scripture on its walls because his actions contradict his front as a Christian well-intended honest man. You’ll notice that during his consultation, all he does is talk about himself and his military background to s...ell himself. He won’t discuss his planned course of action and expects you to just “trust him.” He said things he couldn’t actually do in the end and left out pertinent information during the consultation that most definitely would’ve affected my consideration. Then he preyed on a vulnerable person needing help with legal issues, wasting time and sending thousands down the drain. You’ll watch your retainer go to nothing in 30-60 days with no real progress on your case. He and his staff made costly mistakes on my case as well. There are good lawyers on the Treasure Coast, but Thomas Colter (Law Patriot) is not one of them. Ask his industry peers, they’ll openly caution you about hiring Thomas Colter. Look up his previous company name “Colter Law” on Google and you’ll see the terrible reviews there as well. I only wish I’d have done better research prior to hiring him. Since then, I’ve heard so many people who had the same experience I did. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR FAR AWAY!

My husband and I were bullied and harassed by an idiot neighbor renting for 2 years. He said he was the man for the job and that I could not find a better lawyer. He took 10,000 from us and did nothing on my behalf and he wanted more!! If I had more money I would of hired another lawyer to sue his... a$$. He has so many issues himself and carries them into his business.

Tom Colter has represented and helped me through some of the toughest times of my life over the past couple years. This is one of the most upstanding men I have ever met and words can not express how grateful I am for him and his staff for not only going before me but walking with me as well as teach...ing me to stand up and fight against injustice. Sometimes bad things happen that are out of our control and God uses Mr. Colter, his firm and even his family in ways that I am BEYOND grateful for. They are professional, kind and extremely gifted in all that they do. I thoroughly thank God for them on a regular basis and highly recommend Mr. Colter!

I Guarantee you man, Mr nice guy and then you pay him. $ 2000..00 . Colter doesn't show up in court if he does hes late doesn't answer calls. GUARANTEES you. NO problem I got this !! Hes right he got you for your money and he does nothing, For 2000.00 I got 2 letters and 1 time 20 mins in court to ...say he wanted to go to pick a jury for trial what??? He yells and LIES.
