Thomas Luke Colter

My experience with Tom Colter was horrible. At first he spoke about all the things he was going to do to help my case. He did nothing, didnt hear from him for weeks, never calls back and is very short with me on the phone, (thats if you actually get him on the phone). Right before my hearing, all he ...did was tell me how screwed up i am and was always trying to bring me down. He is the cockiest person I have ever met in my life. He didnt even stay for the whole hearing, he had some guy fill in for him half way through that I had never even met. I paid him thousands of dollars, then after months of him not calling to let me know whats going on with my case, he tells me to plead guilty, that I will lose in trial. Please look around before you retain this guy, if you have to use this law firm at least use Jorge, he is a nice man!

He makes a big deal about how he was a former prosecutor and a former Marine. He boasts how tough he is when it comes to fighting criminal charges and he charged a huge fee up front. Turns out, he was only interested in making a plea deal. He failed to do any kind of investigation and I fired him... when I found out he screwed up a very critical matter with the DA & Sheriff's Dept. In the years since my experience with this guy, I have met several other people who had similar experiences with him.
