K. Hunter Goff

my case began in 2010 until the discharge in 2015. during my case, i told him i wanted him to be able to get rid of my timeshare so that i no longer will be responsible for the upcoming annual maintenance fees. he said that my ex husband would be responsible for it, and i would not. there must have b...een a misunderstanding, because throughout my case, i called/emailed him to try to get rid of the timeshare, and he was difficult to reach, and at times would not respond to my emails. it was 2017, and the timeshare was still harassing me about paying the maintenance fees even though in 2015 they began a process for foreclosure. i continued to email and call hunter to help, and he not once said he would take care of it, but rather tell me to get a quitclaim deed, or pay him to draft up a letter to them that may not potentially work. i felt duped regarding that, and frustrated with the miscommunications. even now, he says to basically wait until the foreclosure occurs, then they will leave me alone. He has since contacted me, and tried to make amends to my situation. Although he could not help with the damage that has been done, he at least clarified the misunderstandings.

My husband and I ended up in a tough situation. Hunter and his office walked us through our Chapter 13. Chapter 13 isn't easy, but Hunter worked with us to create a plan when it was needed. Hunter worked with us through the 5 year plan and has continued to help us with some of the residual effects. H...unter always responded to my emails and phone calls. He has been honest with us throughout.

My first impression of Hunter was he was very capable and wanted his fees as soon as possible (cash). As the Bankruptcy case continued throughout the months Hunter was open to some phone calls, I found out that Emailing Hunter was the best way of getting the answers I needed as soon as I needed them..., but if Hunter felt that the questions weren’t worth his time Hunter never replied at all. Hunter’s staff seemed very young and I did have some problem there. The Bankruptcy case continued as long as Hunter was paid on time. I met with Hunter in his Office a number of times as required as the case progressed. I found Hunter at times to be superior and had an attitude when asking him direct questions about my case. “I’m not an Attorney…So I felt humiliated when Hunter laughed at me after asking a question I didn’t understand, this was so unprofessional, I stood up and walked out of this office so mad I could spit nails! The case was completed and the out-come was favorable. Would I recommend Hunter, yes! “But Hunter needs to work on his people skills and I mean work!!!
