Allison A Belcher

I was a client of Allison and she basically went off and did her own thing with my case. She did not include my wishes in her decision making. It has cost me a lot more money having her for counsel due to the improper filing and lack of thinking through down stream impacts from my case. I think if... it is a simple divorce case she can handle but not anything complex. I had to hire someone new to clean up the mess she left in my case.

When I met her to discuss my options for a divorce, she was very thorough, kind and compassionate, I tried doing my divorce on my own and should have went back, but she was gone and I didnt want to start over with a new attorney. They would not tell me where she went and I did not think of searching ...the net for her till weeks later, now I hope I can get in to see her as soon as possible. Everything she discussed with me was very knowledgeable, and I left there in confidence but my wallet said try it on your own, big mistake!! Allison I need your help!

I had a consult with Ms. Belcher a few months ago. I wanted to meet in New Port Richey on US 19. Her paralegal Teresa suggested I meet at the Wesley Chapel office. I really wanted a male attorney but Teresa told me none were available at that time and Ms. Belcher could do the consult and possibly it... could be referred to a male attorney. I had the consult regarding child support modification. I was ready to give her a deposit to get started. She told me I should wait until after the holidays and she gave me a number to call after the new year. She was very nervous and I had a bad feeling something wasn't quite right. So the holidays are over and I called the number she gave me. Teresa answered the phone ...I was confused and asked if this was the Law firm of Ayo and Iken. She said everyone left the old firm and are working at Knox and Belcher. I called over to the firm I researched and apparently Ms. Belcher and Ms. Knox started up there own firm. I'm very disturbed an attorney would be dishonest and put my situation off for their own benefit.

Our case was kinda tricky, in 2008 the custody case was closed granting me to move my kids out of the state of Florida and to my current state. In 2015 their mother reopened the custody case trying to reverse the order that was placed in 2008. We hired Allison to help us move jurisdiction out of th...e state of Florida due to the amount of evidence we have here in our current state against the opposing party, not to meant ion the children have lived in the current state since 2008. Allison worked and fault for us along side our other lawyer in the state we reside. Allison won! Allison and very diligent, hardworking and she honestly cares about you and the case at hand.
