Unprofessional

I was in the middle of an important case. I received an email a day after my court telling me my attorney no longer works with the firm. I emailed the office back and ask for an explanation. Without any explanation, I receive an email of withdrawal without any explanation or a choice. I called the of...fice asking for my retainer so I can find another attorney, and they refused without any explanation. The secretary unprofessionally hung up the phone on me when she was out of excuses. Unprofessional, no communication from the firm, total disrespect, and disregard for their clients.

SHARK WITH A HEART!

As most of you know family court can get very ugly. Its important to have excellant representation. It certainly does not hurt to have an attorney that also handles criminal law. I have had Allison Belcher as my family attorney since the beginning of the custody case (5yrs) I am a father that struggl...ed with getting any time sharing with my little girl. I'm a father that had to deal with false alagations and even spent the night in jail. Also why I say it helps that she knows criminal law. I was looking at a felony. It's not every day ya get an apology from the courts. Lol! Allison has been right there for me through thick and thin. I wont go into detail about my custody case but I'll give you an idea. I'm a single dad that started off with nothing. No time sharing at all! And now.... I'm a father that has full custody. She encourages us to work together so we dont have to keep going to court. Things couldn't be better. I'm so grateful for everything you and your team have done for me and my little girl. Thank you Allison. SHARK WITH A HEART

Modification

First off, I was never given what has been explained to me by my new attorney to be basic family law 101 questions which were forwarded to Allison almost a year before I was given them to answer and the opposing counsel had me looking like I was failing to respond to the questions pertaining my matte...r. Then to top it all off while in court discussions where had by all, however an order was drawn up by opposing counsel to which I rebutted and made corrections. The corrections were never made by Allison or her paralegal and now I have an order in place to which I had to hire a new attorney to handle. While in court Allison came to the Judges table with 3, ill say it again 3 pieces of paper, 1 was her argument and the other 2 were scratch paper, meanwhile my entire legal binder was left sitting on the chair behind us, next to the deputy. People had subpoena's issued but were never questioned by her. However they were on time and prompt about payments and withdraws from the account. When asked to speak with her boss about this situation, it took them well over a week to get back to me and then when I asked for help with this matter, I was told to do whatever I had to do, no relief would be afforded and that his attorneys are not bound to disclose all information regarding YOUR case in reference to negotiations. I had two paralegals assigned to my case both of which really had no desire to assist me with any answers except give me the proverbial, "Ill ask the attorney and get back with you" however the charges for that answer continued. Very DISSAPOINTED with the professionalism shown and the ETHICS involved. I am moving forward with this to a HIGHER LEVEL that is responsible for overseeing the conduct of attorneys, as I believe this seems to be a trend with this Firm and someone has to be held accountable for these actions. I say these things not out of anger but the truth, lawyers cannot be held accountable for what a Judge decides however there is work that is EXPECTED to be completed on behalf of a client and as a LAWYER you should do your job to the fullest of your potential, shortcuts should never be taken as these situations impact the lives of CHILDREN and ADULTS for a good majority of time.

I seen Ms Belcher at her old law firm

When I met her to discuss my options for a divorce, she was very thorough, kind and compassionate, I tried doing my divorce on my own and should have went back, but she was gone and I didnt want to start over with a new attorney. They would not tell me where she went and I did not think of searching ...the net for her till weeks later, now I hope I can get in to see her as soon as possible. Everything she discussed with me was very knowledgeable, and I left there in confidence but my wallet said try it on your own, big mistake!! Allison I need your help!
