Educational Experience: Mr. Boyer attended the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. From there he attended Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida where he graduated in 2006 with the degree of Juris Doctor. While at Stetson, he was an honor role student four straight semesters and received the distinguished honor of being awarded the “Best Appellate Brief Award.” He was also President of Stetson’s Elder Law Society and was active in researching consumer fraud perpetrated against the elderly.
Professional Organizations: Mr. Boyer is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, the Sarasota County Bar Association, The Manatee County Bar Association, the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar and a member of the Elder Law Section of the Florida Bar.
Volunteer Experience: Mr. Boyer is currently involved in the Justice Teaching Project. The Project is an initiative of Florida Supreme Court Chief Justice Fred Lewis to educate K-12 students about the Florida Justice System and our Laws by pairing legal professionals with elementary, middle and high school classes. Mr. Boyer also participates in providing pro-bono legal representation services through local legal aid offices.
Personal Experience: Mr. Boyer enjoys spending time with his wife Kirsten and their children, traveling with his family and enjoying the outdoors.
