also known as Katherine M. Hingtgen
After growing up in Sarasota, I ventured to Arkansas to complete my undergraduate education. On a weekend visit to Fayetteville, Arkansas I fell in love with the University of Arkansas School of Law and could not imagine going anywhere else. In my first year of law school I was chosen as one of two students in my class to compete in the Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. Later I was chosen to compete in the First Amendment Moot Court Competition hosted by Vanderbilt Law School. I also served as an Associate Editor of the Arkansas Law Review, Treasurer of the Board of Advocates, and Secretary for the Arkansas Women's Law Student Association. I graduated in the Spring of 2006 and moved to Little Rock, Arkansas to join Kutak Rock, LLP as an associate in litigation. In the Fall of 2013 I returned to Sarasota to be close to my parents and sisters after a family tragedy. Moving back to Sarasota is one of the best decisions I've made. I love spending time with friends and family, the beach, being outdoors, my dog Oliver, and last, but not least, my husband Alvin Fall.

"Kate has a remarkable ability to analyze an issue, research the issue, then develop clear argument and strategy. She has also come to be our "go to" person on anything having to do with appeals, complex litigation or legal procedure. Her experience working in Multi-Million Dollar State and Federal Litigation and Appellate cases has shown through in her work time and time again. We are very glad to have Kate as a part of our team and a resource for our clients."
"I have the great pleasure of working with Katherine, and I endorse her as she has extensive knowledge in the complex and confusing area of appellate practice. If you are seeking professional and quality appellate work, you could not ask for a better attorney than Katherine."
"I have had the pleasure of working with Kate Fall (Hingtgen) for a number of years on a wide array of matters and in a number of different contexts including Litigation, Appeals, Complex Guardianship, as well as more transactional matters like Estate Planning. Kate's background in State and Federal Appellate Litigation has made her an invaluable resource to our clients. Her knack for legal research and ability to shape compelling argument, together with her knowledge of procedure make her an incredibly effective advocate. For the above reasons, I give her the highest level of recommendation."
