Molly Marie Gossard

Molly Gossard is a highly regarded criminal defense attorney due to her years of experience and personal belief in a holistic approach in her treatment of clients.  Her experience defending individuals charged with crimes ranges from misdemeanors, like batteries and DUIs, to felonies, like murder, drug possession, and sex crimes.  Her personal practice style views representing her clients as a whole person and taking into consideration the effects a criminal charge can have on their entire life.  She understands the many questions, fears, and frustrations a client may have and believes in being available to answer to those.  Because of this, clients are provided with her personal cell phone number so that she may be accessible to them.

Molly earned her undergraduate degree from Ohio Northern University in Ada, OH.  She received her B.A. in Criminal Justice and Sociology, with a minor in Psychology.  She was also a member of their nationally competitive mock trial program, honing her litigation skills even before law school.

Molly then decided to pursue her law education at the top ranked school for trial advocacy, Stetson University College of Law, in Gulfport, FL.  There she earned her Juris Doctor and a certificate for a Concentration in Advocacy.   Molly also participated in both State Attorney and Public Defender clinic internships during this time.  It was during these internships that a passion for criminal defense was confirmed.

Because of this passion, Molly began her career with the Sixth Circuit Public Defender’s Office.  In the ten years she spent there, Molly had the privilege of representing clients from all walks of life and accused of doing all kinds of crimes.  She has successfully represented clients charged with misdemeanor drug possessions, DUIs, and batteries and those charged with felonies, including but not limited to, manslaughter and murder, sex offenses, thefts, drug trafficking, and felony DUIs.  She also had the privilege of working in the Drug Court program, where she worked with individuals struggling with addictions.  Here she forged relationships with treatment providers that she continues to this day to assist her clients in receiving the best treatment and counseling services available.

Molly also pursued further education to obtain her nursing license.  As a Registered Nurse, she is able to further dissect any case involving injuries, medical records, and/or expert medical witnesses to her clients’ benefit.

Because of Molly’s dedication to her clients, knowledge of the law, and advocacy skills, she has successfully defended clients in numerous jury trials and negotiated thousands of favorable dispositions during her career.  With Molly, clients get the personal attention that they deserve and their case gets the fight it demands for the best possible outcome.
