But my mind at rest

Mr. Linde took time out his busy day to talk to me on the phone for free and answered my questions. I live on Social Security and own a house. In years past the mortgage company attempted to foreclose on me. That is a scarey position for anyone to be in. For people reading this, my daughter and h...er autistic son live with me. I had a trust prior to having mortgage problems. My concern was, will my trust still hold after these mortgage problems? Mr. Linde informed me that because the mortgage company did not win in court that my Trust is still valid. That is such a relief for me. Now I can rest easy knowing that if something happens to me, my daughter and her son will still have a place to live. God Bless Mr. Matt Linde for sharing his knowledge.

Find A Different Attorney

A consult was scheduled to review estate docs. As requested by Mr. Linde's firm all existing estate docs as well as potential changes/concerns were emailed several days prior to the consult. At the consult it was readily apparent that Mr. Linde had not reviewed any of the documents or intake informat...ion and was confused due to the lack of preparation. Mr. Linde became defensive when clarification was offered to clear up the confusion. The consult was a waste of time and effort. Unfortunate as his credentials are strong.

Thank you for your feedback. I want everyone who talks to me to be satisfied, even on a free consultation with a caller who is not the person seeking services that lasts for a couple of minutes. Some general comments for individuals seeking estate planning services for our firm. I receive many requests to consult and have found over the years that sometimes people send voluminous documents only to never be heard from again. I have also found that sometimes I receive voluminous documents only to discover after one or two questions that I cannot assist someone for various reasons. Since I am busy performing valuable services for paying clients, I review documents provided during, and not before, free consultations. Given my many years of experience and board certifications, I can go through all but the most complex documents in a few minutes. I apologize if that was not communicated to you.

Outstanding legal representation

I researched a lot of different law firms before hiring Matt. I can honestly say it was the best decision I ever made. Matt and Doug are intelligent, professional and of the highest integrity. After a review of my case, Matt accurately predicted how it would resolve, Bringing to end a very stressful ...time in our lives while preserving the wishes and legacy of my parents. We can't thank Matt and his firm enough. I would highly recommend Matt and Doug to anyone who has trust or estate issues and questions of any kind.

Excellent Attorney

Matt Linde, prepared a update to my Will, Trust Agreement and other related documents. He was the most through attorney I've ever used to change these important documents as I near my 80th birthday. He has been very professional in advising me throughout the rewrite. Thanks, Matt ...

Probate Case with International involvement

I had a very complicated probate case (neither me as the hire nor my common law spouse as the Decedent are US citizens) regarding property in Florida. Matthew Linde was able to solve the case in my favour in rather short time although there was massive opposition from another family member. I defini...tely only can highly recommend Matthew Linde for any probate case, no matter how complicated!

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
