In my position as a lawyer, I believe in providing a high-quality and professional service for my clients. As a sole practitioner, I am able to provide my clients with individual attention and communication in their cases. We will keep you informed of all important issues and developments from the initial consultation to the conclusion of your case. We want our clients to make informed and wise decisions for the best future they can have for themselves. My goal is to provide you Freedom, Justice, and Security when you are being attacked by your creditors, the government, or your “ex” former lover, and to preserve your family relationships with your children.
The Law Firm of Raymond Mitchell began in May 2004, initially practicing primarily in the Family Law/Divorce fields and expanding into Bankruptcy chapter 7 & 13 in 2009, while always providing clients legal assistance with Wills & Trusts, Appeals, and Personal Injury, while also offering First Amendment Constitutional Law services and advice in the freedom of religion and speech fields.
I graduated from Regent University School of Law in 1993 in Virginia Beach, Virginia and from Florida Bible College in 1982 in Hollywood, Florida (and I attended Florida State University for my first year of college).

simple divorce
thousands and years later still not divorced-you add it up-started out nice with low quotes and quick time to complete.
Whoever this alleged former client is, they do not speak the whole truth. We never promise a quick time to complete a divorce case since we never know when it will end and we always tell clients that. Either party can reach an agreement quickly or either side can refuse to agree and keep on dragging the case out by refusing to be reasonable, to be willing to work, to be willing to listen to the laws and process and think court cases should all be microwave cases instantly solved with no problems, or not being willing to pay attorney fees for massive amounts of additional work caused by the other party or the client themselves. Divorce cases can only end by an agreement or a trial and no one can force the parties to agree. If the cases keep going and going then we need to be paid for our additional work for our clients just like any job anyone has for additional work.

I needed a divorce and couldn't find an attorney I was comfortable with after seeing five of them in one month and wasting my time. Its hard to find a good attorney that has the expertise I was looking for. I almost gave up until...

"I endorse this lawyer. He is honest, reputable and personable. I have no qualms whatsoever referring clients to him for cases that my firm can't take on or that are outside of our scope of practice. Ray is a credit to the profession."
