Adam is a distinguished legal professional, having earned his Juris Doctor with distinction from Stetson University College of Law following his undergraduate degree from Florida State University. As a member of the Florida Bar since 2010, he brings a wealth of experience to his practice. Before embarking on his legal career, Adam spent 15 years as a licensed financial advisor, holding FINRA series 7, 63, and 65 licenses, and he currently maintains an active Florida insurance license.
Specializing in Estate Planning, Probate, and Business Law, Adam skillfully balances asset protection with wealth transfer strategies. His transition from financial planning to estate planning was both natural and purposeful. As a financial advisor, Adam helped clients build their financial futures, but he was often disheartened to see those carefully crafted plans unravel after their passing. This realization drives his commitment to ensuring that his clients' intentions are honored, and their legacies preserved.

Condescending and Unhelpful — A Bad Look For A Good Firm.
Two years ago, I had a real estate issue and visited the firm seeking guidance. Attorney Martha Bolton was gracious as she met with me, listening attentively to understand my situation. Even though she explained that my matter was outside the firm's scope of practice, she provided me with resources...
Elizabeth Dederer was never a client of our firm, and she inquired about an area of law that we do not practice. If she had called any other firm regarding a legal matter outside their area of expertise, she would have been directed elsewhere before even speaking with an attorney. At O'Connor Law Firm, we take pride in personally answering phone calls. Usually, our staff handles these calls. However, when Ms. Dederer called, we were busy managing multiple other calls, so I answered the phone myself. Typically, when someone contacts us about an area of law that we do not handle, we quickly inform them that we cannot assist, allowing them to continue their search for suitable representation. Unfortunately, I was unable to do this effectively with Ms. Dederer. After confirming that she was neither an existing nor a past client and realizing that we could not help with her legal issue, I attempted to explain this to her. Despite my efforts, she insisted on detailing her legal matter and requesting advice. I regret that Ms. Dederer felt I was curt during our conversation. I had exhausted all means of conveying that we could not assist her, short of hanging up the phone.
"When I had a complicated estate and probate matter that involved Florida as well as California I was referred to Adam. He was very helpful and was able to handle the Florida issues with the estate and probate so my client could be taken care of. I recommend Adam for his expertise and level of service. He responded to my clients questions immediately which you don't often see with attorneys! Thank you Adam for your help!"
"As a lawyer myself I knew I needed to refer my client to a well respected lawyer in Florida to handle a client's trust. Adam Rauman was great to deal with, was up to date with the laws and put my client into a safe place with their money. I recommend Adam for anyone needing help with trusts & probate."
"I endorse this lawyer. Adam Rauman has a wide range of knowledge in elder law and estate planning. I highly recommend him."
"I endorse this lawyer. Attorney Rauman and I practice in some of the same areas of law, so I have had the opportunity to review a great many answers he has written for Avvo askers. I find that I not only agree with his legal analysis, but that Attorney Rauman goes out of his way to provide helpful, practical advice. He is a great resource for the Avvo community and reflects very well on the younger generation of attorneys. James Frederick"
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Rauman is a top notch estate planning attorney. He has an amazing ablility to make the complex and difficult rather easy for the lay person to understand. That is the true test of one's knowledge on a particular subject. He not only knows the law but is also a caring and sympathetic individual that takes personal pride in his profession. I would certainly recommend Adam Rauman!"
"Adam is a very competent and knowledgeable attorney. Adam does a great job explaining complicated legal and financial issues to his clients in a way that is easy to understand. He is a great communicator and truly cares about his clients. I have no reservations in endorsing this attorney."
