About Jarica
Biography
I grew up a few miles outside of Gainesville, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida in 2002. While attending the university, I worked at the Kirkpatrick Center, Gainesville's police academy. My father was a police officer for 40 years so I was a good fit for work at the academy. I continued with the police academy after graduation for several years until I entered law school, attending the University of Tulsa.
Since becoming an attorney, I have exclusively practiced family law in the Tampa Bay Area since 2009. In 2013, my husband, Joe Cairns, also a family law attorney, and I opened up our own family law practice in Largo.
I strive to help my clients obtain the best resolution for their family and their family's needs. It is a primary goal of mine to help my clients settle all their matters before allowing a judge to decide what to do with their children and their money. However, if my clients have to go to trial because settlement is no longer an option, then we go to trial. Litigation is expensive and long so it is always my goal to help my clients through this emotional process.
I also serve as a Guardian Ad Litem in Pinellas County for both dependency court and family court matters helping children through their parents' divorce and parenting issues.

Replied last January 16, 2018I can certainly sympathize with Anonymous’s situation. Unfortunately due to Florida’s rules regarding professional conduct, I am prohibited from responding with specifics to this review. However, my firm strives to treat all of our patrons with the respect they deserve and attempt to help them and their children in the best way possible given the facts of their own case. This area of law often deals with the highest of emotions, especially during the holidays. As attorneys in this area we attempt to be as available as possible to our prospective, former and current clients, even during the holidays where we ourselves are trying to be with our own families. I would ask this individual to reach out to me so that we can amicably resolve this matter.
