Kelly-Ann McLaughlin Jenkins

Kelly-Ann Jenkins is a native Floridian, growing up in Ormond Beach, FL.  She attended college at Furman University in Greenville, SC, where she obtained her B.A. in Spanish.  Following her college graduation, she moved back to Florida to attend Stetson University College of Law.  While in law school, Kelly-Ann competed on the Moot Court Board and worked as a Teaching Fellow for the Research and Writing Department.  In addition, she interned with Judge McGrady in the Sixth Judicial Circuit and with Judge Lawson in the Fifth District Court of Appeals.  During her final year of law school, she worked as a certified legal intern for the Sixth Judicial Circuit State Attorney’s Office in Clearwater, FL.

Upon graduation, Kelly-Ann joined a large insurance defense firm in Tampa, where she handled all aspects of litigation including drafting and arguing motions, deposing witnesses, and trying cases.  Here, she gained an understanding of the legal issues surrounding various insurance claims.  Kelly-Ann later accepted a position at a large, foreclosure law firm in Tampa where she spent time working on both the trial team and the client team.  Ultimately, she decided to leave the large law firm practice to join Jenkins Law P.L. and work with her husband, Jim.  Kelly-Ann primarily practices in the areas of personal injury, criminal, and traffic law.

In her free time, Kelly-Ann enjoys traveling, running, and triathlons.
