I recently had a civil matter that was fraudulently filed against me by my neighbors. While I knew the allegations were completely false absolutely no evidence to substantiate the claims, you can never be too careful in these situations given court can be quite unpredictable. I knew I wanted legal re...presentation, but to be honest I was quite overwhelmed with the process of finding the right lawyer to represent me. Unfortunately, I have heard and seen horror stories of close friends utilizing legal representation that looked the part but ended up being horrible in every way (i.e. professionalism, preparedness, etc..). Those feelings were verified upon her making a motion for dismissal before the hearing for the criteria not being met to even meet the alleged allegations requirements for that law. The judge not only agreed and dismissed it, but I got something I had never seen in any courtroom, a direct apology from the judge for the whole situation.
