About Melissa
Biography
Starting as a receptionist at a personal injury firm in 1999, Melissa Solevilla quickly found her passion in helping the injured and disabled achieve justice. She went on to practice law in 2012, and after 18 years with Katherine Neal, co-founded Neal & Solevilla Personal Injury Lawyers in 2023. Melissa focuses on representing victims of car accidents, slip and trip and falls, wrongful death, and negligence-based cases. She also possesses unique skills in crematory and cemetery malpractice, advocating for families impacted by serious errors in these industries. Melissa’s own experience as an injured accident victim during pregnancy has strengthened her empathy and resolve, shaping her compassionate, client-focused approach. She prides herself on being accessible and making each client feel like her top priority. Melissa earned her degrees from Florida Southern College and Stetson Law School and is licensed to practice law in Florida. She is active in the Florida Bar and Clearwater Bar Association. Outside of work, Melissa is a devoted wife, mother to four children, and an engaged community volunteer with local schools and her church.
