Mr. Gonzalez, originally from Miami, is a fluent Spanish speaker. He graduated with honors from the University of South Florida having received a Bachelor of Science degree, and subsequently a Juris Doctorate from the Stetson University College of Law.
In 2014, he received the Victor O. Wehle Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. This plaque is awarded in the name of the late Victor O. Wehle, who served as a Judge of the Sixth Judicial Circuit and Professor Emeritus of the College of Law. Each winner's name is inscribed on a master plaque that is maintained at the College of Law. Ray is also Lexis and WestLaw certified.
A personal message to injured victims: "[w]hether you hire my firm or someone else's, I would like to personally extend my deepest condolences to you and your family."
