Put me at ease and won my case!

I was accused of a felony that was a set up and the other parties were trying to pull an insurance fraud scam. My anxiety was through the roof, the charges frightened me to death and James May assured me through the whole process that he would win this case and I would never see the inside of a cour...t room. I was supposed to appear on three different occasions and Mr. May was true to his word, I never had to appear. And in the end He won the case! I can’t say enough good things about what a truly great attorney he is! I highly recommend him and I would use him again without even thinking of going somewhere else. I would send my family members to him and all of my friends that needed legal representation. He was amazing!

One of the most passionate and hard working attorneys I have ever known

Throughout my career I have come to know several lawyers. I learned of James through a friend of a friend when I came into a situation. I am so happy that I hired this gentleman. He is diligent, confident, persistent, and knows how to get the best outcome for his clients. I know this because I am... one of his clients. When other attorneys would have just settled, he continued to fight on my behalf for the best results. I truly am lucky that I had him as my attorney. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend him!

All Charges dropped!

A night out drinking at First Fridays took a turn for the worst landing me in jail with two misdemeanor charges. This was an overall very scary and stressful experience but thankfully, James was there to fight for me the entire way. Not only did James work to prove my innocence but he also was ther...e to support me and make me feel more at ease during this extremely scary time. Whether it was Monday morning or Sunday night, James was there to answer any of my questions or concerns running through my mind. Thanks to his hard work, James was able to get all my charges completely dropped in less than 2 months. Couldn't have asked for better representation.

Review for James May

I hired Mr. May for a 2nd degree felony charge of-aggravated battery with a deadly weapon (firearm) causing great bodily harm, in which I was facing very serious repercussions. Through the whole case Mr. May did a very good job of explaining things to me, giving me updates via email and telephone kee...ping me calm. Not only did Mr. May succeed in getting my charges reduced to a third degree felony for the purpose of being admitted into the Pre Trial Intervention program, but he was also able to make me feel comfortable throughout the whole very scary process. I now have a possibility of getting it over with in 9 months with no community service hours, I would recommend him to anyone and I am grateful for his services.

Went better than expected, never even had to go to a court date

Hired James for multiple traffic charges in pinellas and a theft charge in Hillsborough. Gave a flat fee first day we met, and never tried to nickel and dime us or invoice us after based on his time. Got everything consolidated and reduced for her without even needing us to appear. We let him know up... front we’d prefer no probation and he worked with the prosecutors to get us deals that fit our wishes. Was always easy to get hold of and prompt.
