Great communication and professionalism!

My ex husband hired James to represent our son. The case took over a year to come to resolution and James stayed dedicated to my son and the case even though my ex passed away shortly after hiring him. I am eternally grateful for James. He persisted through letter writing and pre trial hearings un...til my son’s case was dismissed, and he was kind enough to keep me in the loop and coordinate with me the entire time! His level of compassion and care was very much appreciated. My son’s case was a challenge due to his mental health issues and James handled it very professionally and sensitively. I highly recommend James May.

Thanks to James May! Would highly recommend.

I was referred to James May by a friend when l was facing intimidating charges. He made the process understandable and less scary. My case went smoothly and with all of his help, it won't take so long for me to be back to life as normal! And more mature in my handling of drinking and driving.

All Charges dropped!

A night out drinking at First Fridays took a turn for the worst landing me in jail with two misdemeanor charges. This was an overall very scary and stressful experience but thankfully, James was there to fight for me the entire way. Not only did James work to prove my innocence but he also was ther...e to support me and make me feel more at ease during this extremely scary time. Whether it was Monday morning or Sunday night, James was there to answer any of my questions or concerns running through my mind. Thanks to his hard work, James was able to get all my charges completely dropped in less than 2 months. Couldn't have asked for better representation.

Review for James May

I hired Mr. May for a 2nd degree felony charge of-aggravated battery with a deadly weapon (firearm) causing great bodily harm, in which I was facing very serious repercussions. Through the whole case Mr. May did a very good job of explaining things to me, giving me updates via email and telephone kee...ping me calm. Not only did Mr. May succeed in getting my charges reduced to a third degree felony for the purpose of being admitted into the Pre Trial Intervention program, but he was also able to make me feel comfortable throughout the whole very scary process. I now have a possibility of getting it over with in 9 months with no community service hours, I would recommend him to anyone and I am grateful for his services.

Freedom is his best dish!

In January of 2015, I came to mr.May facing the rest of my life behind bars.i was a third time violent offender and what the state likes to call a career criminal. James listened to my story, all the details good and bad.He worked closely with me to build a defense that ultimately the state was not r...eady for and dropped the charges. James has not only been my lawyer but a mentor, a great listener and helped me in many ways with his advice to get my life back on track and to be a better father.i have never had this level of professionalism from any lawyer in my life time.i would recommend James to anyone I meet good or bad alike, James may can get you your life back without a doubt!!
