After experiencing a difficult time with my Employer, concerning a work related injury, I felt I should consult an Attorney, I fortunately was lead to Travis McConnell. I called and scheduled an appointment, he was able to fit me in quickly. I was injured and required medical treatment that was out of my financial means, that my employer did not want to pay, and was not really sure what rights I had. I found Travis to be a highly intelligent, detail oriented young man, who was extremely easy going and comfortable to speak with. He informed me of all of my rights on a workmans compensation claim, was thorough, informative and compassionate of my medical needs as well as my feelings. I informed Travis that I worked for a private, members only club that catered to elite of Tampabay, however he was not apprehensive at all about who my employer was, he said his concern was to assist me in receiving the care I was entitled to. The day after meeting with Travis, I was contacted by the insurance adjuster, and had Doctors appointments lined up. I received all the medical attention that I required, and in the end received compensation for all loss wages, as well as future medical costs, this was all done within a three month time frame. Travis is an excellent attorney, who is all about going the extra mile for his client.

I injured my back at work and thought I could handle the workers comp claim myself. Instead of things going well, the insurance company said they were denying my claim and tried to offer me a settlement which didn't even come close to covering my loss of income, much less my medical. The judge at hearing denied the settlement and told me to get an attorney, preferably one recommended by a friend rather than off a TV ad.
Taking her advice, I called a friend who had injured himself at work and who had been happy with the outcome of his case. He referred me to Travis. When I met with him the first thing that struck me was that although he was professional, he was very personable. He made me feel at ease, like the big brother who stands up for you when the bully is picking on you. After going without any treatment for over a month after the injury, I have finally been getting the care I need. He even went to the doctor's with me!
Though my case is still not settled, I have no doubt that Travis will see me through this and make sure that I get all of the care I need to get me back on my feet, as well as a fair settlement.
