HOA Case in a Town Home community with Limited Parking Spaces

Town home community. All homes are given 1 parking permit. I had visit one day, and ran out of parking spots, so I photocopied my parking permit. The tow truck company found out and towed two cars (Car with OG parking permit and car with photocopied one) AND it broke into my car and removed my original parking permit. The HOA and members of the board refused to allow me to purchase a parking permit for my home (despite it NOT being in the rules). The rules did not say that a Parking Permit could be revoked via decision of the board, so I contacted DJS Law Group for help. After months of emails, letters, and conversations between DJS Law Group, the members of the board, HOA management company and the attorney representing the Members of the board, DJS Law Group was able to help me get my parking permit back, and I’m very thankful for their involvement. I wouldn’t have been able to have a parking permit again without their help. Bryan, Emily and Cara were fast, efficient and professional with the handling of my case. I highly recommend them!

Great Listener

Ms. Powell is a great listener which makes for someone who is really there to help you find the best resolution. My circumstances being very unique, she gave me the best and worst-case scenario and guided me in understanding the pros and cons of what I was looking for.

Professional and compassionate

I was referred to Cara by a friend of mine, and I knew within minutes of meeting her that I needed to hire her. She could sense that I was nervous and emotional, and she took the time to explain the process to me, and did her best to make me feel relaxed. As time went on, her support and communication made me feel more confident and positive, which I deeply appreciated. Positive and collaborative

Cara helped me through my recent divorce and she was a godsend. She always remained calm during the storm and even when my ex husbands attorney was being unreasonable she kept composure when discussing things. She was able to relate to me as a woman and as a mom which was much appreciated during those uncharted times. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with her again if I had any issue come up. She made the best out of one of the worst things I have ever been through in my life.

Compassionate and dedicated

I had so many questions snd uncertainly in my next steps. Ms. Powell was compassionate and truly allowed me to share my fears. She helped me manage my expectations and advised me through the phases of the separation process. Ms. Powell’s was an amazing Allie during a truly hard time.

Knowledgeable and trustworthy!

I was considering to prepare my own divorce paperwork. Cara was there every step of the way. She listened to my concerns and explained the pros and cons of specific division of assets and time share arrangements. Highly recommend

Cara joined a firm that had been working on my very hostile 3 year long divorce and ongoing continued litigation after in regards to additional child custody, relocation and support issues for another 2 years following that. She came on board and jumped right in on my case, didn’t miss a beat, and tirelessly working on my behalf. She took the time to talk to me and explain more complicated and confusing legal issues as needed, as well as taking extra time on numerous occasions to reassure me through the process and to calm my anxiety through this continued difficult and highly emotionally charged time. Smart, Talented Attorney

Divorce is not an easy process, but Cara and her team made it as seamless as possible. She was patient, understanding, and great at getting to the root of what was truly important to me and negotiating my terms to find a win-win with my ex. Cara Powell has handled my case with patience, understanding and yet is assertive enough to make sure I am getting the results I am after!
