After being told from my previous criminal defense lawyer, that he had moved to a different kind of practice, my heart dropped. He was the only person I've learned to trust. I was falsely accused of a very serious crime and am sitting in Starbucks typing this and not jail for one reason - Marc Pelletier. A little over a year ago I met a woman who was here on Visa visiting. I was hit by lightning from the moment I met her. She looked like a real life Barbie doll (b...londe / 6' tall / fake boobs) was worldly, interesting, cultured, sexy accent and cunning as a wolf. She rode sport bikes, was trained by former olympians in swimming, was a scuba diving expert, and was a general bad a. I fell madly in love. If you've never been in love I can't explain it. She explained to me she had dated millionaires and models and that I was probably not going to keep her happy. She had modeled for products and been in music videos you can find on youtube. She was a knockout. I respected her honesty and made the jump anyway. This girl took every dime I had. I even took out thousands of dollars in loans to pay her green card application fees after we married. I was loyal and turned down other women when no one would have found out. She had more red flags than a chinese army. I knew she was a bad girl when I met her and it wasn't my first rodeo so I figured I was prepared for whatever would happen with this Russian tiger. I was wrong. In addition to paying for everything she wanted to go out and drink and party 5 nights a week. Major problems at 2 months into the marriage. I caught her at the bar with a man from our dance class. I sat in a corner and video'd them drinking and laughing and cuddling up to each other. I told her to get her things and leave that we're done, but again I was in love with her and she ended up making some hot love to me and assuring me the man was just a friend. It was like that Bill Withers song this woman could keep on using me til she used me up. As our relationship continued things got worse. She had been sexually abused as a child as well as some hitting and neglect. The way this manifested itself was in numerous ways. She did not like to be touched, did not like sex and would even admit she had to drink to freely have sex with anyone. Im a good looking guy and have dated other beautiful women so I know it wasn't me. She also suffered from extreme anxiety and panic attacks. We argued about sex and money. In the US you have to have made a certain amount every year for the past 3 years for your immigrant wife to get a green card. Because of the mental problems she beat me up numerous times. I used makeup to hide black eyes and endured bites and claws that looked like they came from an animal. I had knives pulled on me. Things came to a head one night when she raised a golf club to me. She swung it and bruised my ribs. I thought she was going to kill me. To make a long story short she found a clause in the immigration code that allows an abused wife to get a green card. The beating me up sessions would now conclude with her telling her "potential witness" friends that I was abusing her. During one of these sessions where she bloodied my face with a coffee mug and put a rottweiler bite on my arm, I took a photo of the damage and sent it to the arab man that set us up. She saw this and thought she might go to jail or it might mess up her fake abuse story she was going to use to get a green card. She slashed her arm and called the cops doing her best acting "my husbands trying to kill me" and my world went to a deeper level of Dante's hell. I want to tell Marc Pelletier thank you so much. You saved my life. I had no blood on me, the evidence didn't match her story and I had set her off with the photos of her abusing me. Marc did the most awesome job of summarizing this in the investigation phase to the DA. He had me take a polygraph (I passed because I am innocent). They filed a no information result and did not bring charges. I was looking at up to 15 years, my word against a crazy womans. My life would be over without Marc.

Attorney Pelletier is phenomenal! He kept me advised through out the whole case and delivered the results he said he would! This was a traffic case. He got the charge reduced and the fine lower than I anticipated. I never entered court once. He too care of everything. His staff is awesome too!
