Thomas H. McGowan

I hired Thomas McGowan, and he directed me to a higher case vs the small claims case I was originally looking to do. As a result; we lost the case, due to him not being prepared, and unorganized. McGowan's Motions looked like they were written by a 1st year student, and his Court demeanor lacks ent...husiasm and effort. After the case, I was stuck with Court Costs from the other party, because McGowan couldn't and didn't do his job. Then he abandoned me to fend for myself; I would not recommend this Attorney.

Mr. McGowan is a first rate attorney. HIs attention to detail, demeanor and work ethic are exemplary. He has handled a very difficult and sensitive case for me in the past, in which I believe he went way above the call of duty to treat the situation with the utmost respect that it deserved. More re...cently, I hired him for another matter and was equally impressed with his base of knowledge, promptness and the personal attention he gave to this matter. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. McGowan to friends and family.

Let me put it to you nicely. This attorney over charged me wanted me to sign my home over to him for payment. I ended up doing my case pro se since he drained me out of money and had private conversations with the other attorney and didnt inform me. I did complain to the good old boys club but they r...efused to do anything that is why he has no complaints against him.

Mr. McGowan is a top-notch, no nonsense attorney. He is straight and to the point and the most honest attorney I have ever met. He has handled several cases for me and has done a superb job on each. Most attorneys I have dealt with are solely out to make a buck. This IS NOT the case with this att...orney. I feel that he actually cares about your legal pains and wants to help you in anyway that he can. Three major cases he handled for me was a very ugly divorce and adoption case. He cleaned up and completed a divorce that my formal attorney screwed up and had the adoption reversed which is not an easy task in any state. He just recently had a creditor overturn harmful information in my credit report that they refused to do for several months even with proof of payment. Mr. McGowan went after this collector with every legal avenue he could take and they finally caved. You would be a fool not to choose this attorney.
