Dineen is the perfect combination of brilliant legal analysis; crisp & pithy writing; an unbelievable grasp of voluminous records; integrity and compassion. Since she focuses on the tougher stuff (IP and appeals), Dineen has an understanding of the law that most attorneys will never achieve. She also writes like a hurricane, and you will be swept away by her briefs. I read a 50 page initial brief in a few minutes and could not put it down. Her point headings are models of persuasion- clear, detailed and able to communicate complex issues (without commas-- a true achievement for a sentence with multiple conditionals). Dineen's success in the District Court of Appeals is not surprising-- she really knows the law. Before I met her, I followed her blog, which taught me more than my four prior attorneys--see: http://floridaappellate.com/ If Dineen takes your case, you have a reasonable chance of success, as she is quite selective in her caseload, and only takes cases with merit. This selectivity probably contributes to her pleasantness and the love she shows for her work. No matter how much pressure we were under (with a 5000 page record and a short deadline), Dineen remained upbeat, while she kept her laser-like focus on the issues, and would edit the paper until it was perfect. When our deadline approached, Dineen was available round the clock and never failed to respond to a single query or to listen to my views. Although no one can do her job the way she does, Dineen made me feel as if I had something to say; she actually read the entire record and treated the case like a collaboration, without a trace of hierarchy, condescension or hide-the-ball tactics. Dineen simply gets to work, and she wants to keep you informed. Before the brief was filed, Dineen even asked me whether I felt adequately represented by her efforts after she had worked through the night; responded to every last-minute question I raised; took my call during her dinner to reassure me that everything was on track-- and produced an amazing brief right on time. throughout the project, Dineen was willing to work through the night to meet deadlines, and she never complained, or made me feel as if this was unusual. She actually enjoys the work and does whatever it takes to win.
Before I retained Dineen, she did a review of the case, and gave me a thorough multi-page analysis of the merits of the case, and the likely outcomes. She was honest about the scope of the work and the costs, and when she actually got to work, she was able to mine facts that gave her much better arguments than she had anticipated. In a world where very few people meet expectations, it is inspiring to find a lawyer who can exceed all expectations. If you get a chance to work with Dineen, take it, because I do not think any lawyer will ever prove to be smarter, better or more compassionate than Dineen Wasylik.

Dineen Wasylik provided my brain injured son outstanding representation before the 5th DCA of Florida winning a unanimous Opinion against Disney and two other defendants. Her professionalism is beyond reproach. 5+ well earned stars.

Dineen represented us in a complicated trademark matter against a sizable and formidable opponent. Dineen made a priority of understanding our business, and how this matter could impact it. She provided almost two years of expert advice and guidance, as we knew that litigation was likely inevitable.
When litigation commenced, Dineen was truly invaluable in her appraisal of the situation, her advice on strategy, and ultimately her representation with opposing counsel, and in proceedings.
Dineen has an incredible knowledge of Intellectual Property Law, and would be a great choice for anyone in need of a most astute IP Lawyer.

Dineen fights for my copyright-rights as if she were fighting for her own. It would be impossible for me to handle my business without her help and advice and legal assistance. I can't recommend her enough!
