About Me

I was born and raised right here in the Tampa Bay area. Long before I entered a courtroom, my dream was to become a professional baseball player. That dream came true the night I graduated from high school. I was selected as the third draft choice nationwide by the Detroit Tigers organization.

Later, I turned my dedication toward the law. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from USF. Next, I earned my Juris Doctorate from Suffolk University Law School in Boston. While there, I served as a Special Prosecutor for the Massachusetts Governor's Consumer Boards of Nursing and Dentistry. I also wrote my doctoral thesis on Law and Medicine.

My Core Values

My most important lesson in life came from my parents. They instilled in me one simple truth:

"We must always treat others the way we would want someone to treat us, or someone we love."

They taught me that living by this rule leads to a happier, more meaningful life.

Defending Our Constitutional Rights

We are living in challenging times. Our nation needs a just and fair legal system for everyone. Today, many citizens feel that politicians have compromised our constitutional rights. They worry that our courts are being filled with judges handpicked by political and corporate elites to serve a specific agenda. This division threatens our very foundation.

Our Founding Fathers had the wisdom to foresee this threat. It is exactly why they established three co-equal branches of government:

• The Legislative Branch: Creates laws through Congress (the Senate and the House of Representatives).

• The Executive Branch: Enforces laws through the President, Vice President, and the Cabinet.

• The Judicial Branch: Interprets laws through the Supreme Court and lower courts.

The greatest threat to our freedom happens when one branch usurps, or wrongly takes over, the power of another. When the executive branch oversteps and the elites select federal judges, it is the citizens who suffer injustice. I have spent my 39-year career fighting to make sure your rights are protected.
