Joseph Anthony Caimano Jr.

About five years ago, I hired Mr. Caimano upon the recommendation of another attorney, who was a personal friend of his. When I initially met him in his office he was very pleasant. We reviewed the details of my rather delicate criminal case and he assured me he could resolve the matter to my satisfa...ction. I eagerly paid him the retainer fee and waited for a resolution. None came. Mr. Caimano's had ensured me he could speak to the prosecutor and explain my situation and the State would be lenient. It turns out, his entire strategy consisted of writing a letter to the State Attorney's Office. He forwarded a copy of the letter to me and it contained glaring omissions as well as spelling and grammatical errors. After the letter produced no results, Mr. Caimano began speaking to me in an aggressive and unprofessional manner. He missed one of my court dates completely and left me, panicked, in front of the judge with no explanation as to where my attorney was. When the court tried to call him on his cell phone to see where he was, he did not answer the phone. When I spoke to him later, his excuse was he had aspirations of running for public office and he missed my court date because he was at a meeting. After he missed my court date, he began (with an increasingly direct tone) to suggest I seek other counsel to resolve my case. I sought out another attorney and he went on to resolve my case above and beyond any level of satisfaction I could have imagined. And he did it in one court appearance.

I hired Joe Caimano six months ago or so for a traffic incident involving a crash and a hit and run. He handled everything for me, the first 3 court dates i did not have to attend. I went to the fourth court date and he was able to get the civil traffic ticket as well as the criminal charge of hit an...d run thrown out! All i had to do was approach the judge while he read off my charges being dropped. This guy worked for a very fair retainer , was professional, and got me the best possible result. My only complaint would be his communication with me, sometimes taking 3 days to return calls, however when it got close to game time he was always there. I couldn't have asked for much better.

He seemed like a great person and I was very happy to have him handle my case after I talked to him the first time. He said everything you wanted to hear from a lawyer. He offered to take my criminal case and civil case afterwards and I put all my trust in him. He was able to get charges dropped sinc...e I was falsely accused but to do so he had me take a class (as if I did something wrong as a mean to have charges dropped). I missed on taking action against those that falsely accused me because he never advised me of actions I needed to take before it was too late to report whomever and some actions I needed to take was against a Deputy Sheriff. Then after my charges were dropped he told me he was not going to take my civil case. So by the time this happened I had no other recourses to seek justice for the big injustice committed against me. He had no remorse with his actions. I was very disappointed with the way he handled my case but I guess he looked for an easy way to have this case settled without regarding how it would affect me or my well-being.

I personally hired Joe to represent my husband on a federal case . when he went to court for his surrendering details he was arrested . the judge told Joe if he did not have his paperwork done then it was to late at that time. my husband was very upset. also during the process we did have several con...versations with Joe about concerns that we questioned but Joe assured everything was ok.
