I grew up in Tampa all my life. I defend my clients on a wide array of criminal charges in either State or Federal Court. I started my legal career at the Public Defender's Office in Hillsborough County in 1994 and went into private criminal practice in 1997. I have tried over 50 jury trials and many more non-jury trials. My trial experience has taught me that intense investigation brings about terrific results. My practice has also focused on crimes involving violence and more specifically sexual violence. Defending these cases has given me a lot of experience in domestic relations court representing both petitioners and respondents on all types of domestic violence injunctions.
I am 49 years old and when I am not working I spend most of my time with my two sons. While my practice brings me a lot of gratification its my sons who make life worthwhile. I am certainly someone who enjoys the outdoors and all that Tampa has to offer. Because my job requires a lot of commitment I exercise a lot and try to get outside whenever possible. Boating and paddleboarding are a big part of my life.
