Domestic Battery Charges Dropped

We were recently retained by a client who had been charged with domestic battery on her husband on two occasions. She originally entered the domestic violence intervention program and was forced to le ... ave Florida prematurely. During an unrelated hearing in family law court over child custody she was arrested when the judge discovered she had a warrant out for her arrest for these two charges of domestic violence. Shortly after the client retained our office we immediately had her released from the county jail and demanded speedy trial. The State was not prepared to go to trial and the charges were dismissed.
