Born in Manhattan and raised on Long Island, I enlisted in the United States Army shortly after graduating high school. As a United States Army Military Policeman I provided physical security on a base that housed nuclear weapons, law enforcement for a military community in Germany, and combat operations in Operations Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and Desert Spear. I was honorably discharged in 1993 and subsequently earned my B.S. in Business Administration from The University of Tampa, and my Law Degree from Stetson University College of Law.

Highly Recommend Attorney Paul J Phipps
I retained Attorney Paul Phipps after a more than 9 year litigious nightmare. He is the most professional, ethical, knowledgeable and life changing attorney you could possible choose to hire in this area. He listens to what you need help with, minimizes all unnecessary conflict that any opposing coun...
"Paul was the opposing counsel on a recent, extremely contested child custody matter. All signs pointed towards a trial. Fortunately, Paul and I were able to settle the matter at a mediation. Both the mediator and myself believe that if another lawyer had been involved, it is unlikely the case would have settled. I enjoy working with Paul and happily endorse him!"
"I met Paul several years ago. He knows that a client needs to feel protected by the lawyer he or she hires. Paul does not let his ego dictate how best to handle the client's case. In family law, emotions can run high. Paul keeps a cool head and does not lose sight of the goal for the client."
"I met Paul several years ago. I've referred a number of clients to him for both family and criminal law matters. I will continue to do so. Paul is honest, passionate and capable. He practices law with integrity and empathy. I am confident in my endorsement of him."
"Paul Phipps is a lawyer of the highest caliber. He possesses the qualities of ethics and professionalism that surpass the requirements of the profession. Mr. Phipps is a compassionate lawyer who always has his client's interests at heart while exhibiting a great skill set in the courtroom as an advocate. I highly endorse Mr. Phipps."
"Paul was a worthy opponent in court! He was the consummate professional. He was prepared and handled himself very well during some intense cross-examination!"
"Paul is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and always an advocate for his client. He is a great part of our family law community."
"I endorse this lawyer. Paul is a very talented and skilled family law attorney. He does a great job in both litigating and settling his cases. I consider him a consummate professional."
"Some smart people become attorneys, but they lack the right "feel" for being a lawyer. Paul Phipps knows the right things to say in court. He knows how to be professional, and he knows when to be tough with opposing counsel. He makes solid arguments in court, even when he is defending someone who made bad choices. Paul is a great lawyer and consummate professional. He is also a genuinely good guy, who is respected in court because he has a knack for making the right arguments for each case."
"I had the pleasure of working as opposing counsel with Paul in a higher conflict divorce case with a child. He did a fantastic job representing his client and looking out for his financial well being. But more than that, Paul looked for creative solutions that protected the child in our case as well as the client. He helped put the parties in a position to continue to work as co-parents when the divorce was complete. I endorse this lawyer."
"I endorse this lawyer. Paul is an excellent attorney and truly cares about his clients. He is recognized for in the community for a high level of professionalism."
"I endorse this lawyer. Paul has served as a guardian on case I was involved with. He has a wonderful reputation and has been a pleasure to work with. It is apparent he genuinely cares about the parties and their children. His personal interest and passion is unmatched."
"Paul is a fearless litigator who brings a realistic and professional approach to his clients as well as opposing counsel. Paul's attentiveness to the best interests of children can be seen in his work as an attorney and as a GAL. I recommend Paul to anyone with family law issues."
"It has been my privilege to serve as opposing counsel on multiple matters with Mr. Phipps. I have, without exception, found him to be professional in all respects. I am happy to endorse this lawyer."
"I endorse this lawyer. Mr. Phipps and I have worked together on numerous family law matters. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and a superb advocate for his clients. Above all, Mr. Phipps practices law with integrity."
