My family and I are from China. Mr. Jones has represented me in two cases and both were successful. We are lucky, Mr. Jones is very professional. In the USA, when you are charged with a crime, you need to fight and the outcome depends mostly on the quality of your attorney. The Police and the Flo...rida Division of Children from Families (DCF) will lie to everyone. My first case with Mr. Jones was in 2018 while visiting the USA. The case was a traffic ticket for not having child safety seats for my kids. I was in China when the court case was scheduled and Mr. Jones went to the court. The case was dismissed. My second and third case were in 2020. The Police charged me with DUI and two counts of Felony Child Neglect which also triggered DCF involvement. I consulted a few attorneys including Mr. Jones. He was the better communicator, more careful to listen and also more clear when describing his viewpoint and strategy. I was also impressed that Mr. Jones did not misunderstand anything I said even though I am unusual in my style. Mr. Jones discussed the charges with the Prosecutor and the Felony Neglect was reduced to Misdemeanor. A trespassing charge was added, then later dropped. For the remaining DUI, we had a jury trial. Mr. Jones worked hard and was in control of every detail. He countered each witness with details from their own testimony and destroyed the prosecutor's portrayal of events and made certain it was obvious to the jury. Mr. Jones even discovered and compelled one officer to admit to colluding with one of the witnesses in the case. In our collaboration, Mr. Jones was thoughtful and understanding with me and my family. He prepared me about behavior in court, he instructed me to take careful notes and make observations of the jurors. Mr. Jones gave clear and specific instructions about keeping our conversations and case details private in the courtroom. Testifying is a difficult thing to do but In the end, thanks to Mr. Jones, I was confident enough to testify in my defense. The final result was Not Guilty. The DUI triggered DCF involvement and Mr. Jones helped us with the Dependency case also. He disallowed DCF to paint my wife in any negative way whatsoever while their focus was on me. I'm sure he had fireworks prepared but DCF dropped their case against both of us and returned our children. Why DCF ever went after my wife is beyond me, they are a total joke. I chose Mr. Jones for his experience and because I trust him. Blacks don't get invited to the dinner parties like in the movies, they don't get second chances for mistakes, they don't have mentors, and they aren't clowns like Jacky in Seinfeld. In 2018, I gambled Mr. Jones must be very very intelligent and in 2020 I thought maybe he takes pleasure in taking on lying police and DCF agents. I also reasoned he wouldn't be trusted enough by a dirty prosecutor with an agenda for a certain type of case that might want to do some horsetrading. What I can say for certain in 2021 is Mr. Jones is in fact very intelligent and he doesn't have a chip on his shoulder, he likes to win and he is very good at what he does. We were prepared to leave the USA permanently as a result of the abuse my family has suffered, especially from DCF. We wanted to see it through for our children. Mr. Jones' aggressive defense is why we have the choice to stay in the US without feeling threatened. If the worst happens again, we will just have to beat them again.
