Trafficking/Firearm Felony Probation Case

John was by far the most understanding and confident lawyer I've spoken with he’s very confident in what he does and must i say he will get the job done i was facing ton of bumps in the road through my legal battles my case closed and i was sentenced to 4 years of probation i have got 2 probation vio...lations due to the work i do past curfew hours i was arrested twice and the final time they reinstated my probation with no time or credit for anything i had called around and spoke to some attorneys and finally got ahold of Escobar & Associates best decision i ever made was hiring John to represent me in this matter because now I'm a free man again and i don't have to worry about anymore probation because he made it happen i had a lot of anxiety throughout the process but John always kept reassuring me that he's gonna get it done and its gonna all work out and it did I'm so thankful for him and the office he stands beside i would highly recommend him for any of your legal matters I'm so genuinely appreciative for the outcome he got me and i thank him so much for being an amazing attorney !

Excellent Attorney

John A. Grant is an excellent attorney. He is dedicated to his craft and never settles for anything but the best. He vigorously fights for his clients. We recently were victims of a very unpleasant arrest under absurd circunstances and John was instrumental in working to have it all disappear. Ad...d being a likeable personable man and this is a winning choice. The firm he currently works for/with, Escobar & Associates, P.A. focuses on all their client's best interests at all times.

Mr.Grant represented me and went beyond the extra mile

Mr. Grant represented me in a Pasco County criminal court case and I am more than happy with the outcome and furthermore He recognized that I am on a fixed income and rather than have me travel from hillsborough County to Pasco ( which would of cost me 150 bucks Uber)... He appeared for me each court... hearing... I feel like I was treated like a person and not just another client!!!

Recommendation from an Actual Client

I highly recommend John A. Grant III and the team at Escobar & Associates. HIRE THIS MAN AS YOUR ATTORNEY!! Hiring Escobar and Associates was the best choice we made during my whole ordeal. I am an actual client and here’s my story. I was WRONGLY accused of something I did not do. I was facing th...e rest of my life in prison. When I was first arrested my family and I panicked, hiring the first law firm that popped up in Google. I would not use this law firm (Musca & Associates) to fight a parking ticket! Needless to say we went with another law firm. Escobar and Associates came highly recommended by inmates, jail staff and other lawyers. We reached out to them and I was linked with a literal angel on earth, DeeAnn Athan Esq. Ms. Athan gave me more information and had done more research from the time we called until she met me a couple days later than the other firm had done in 3 months. This was even before I retained her. She shared because of my being innocent of the charges, she felt a special responsibility and burden to see that I got justice. After looking at the totality of the circumstances she said, “Good luck to the State trying to prove this”, “Cases like this are why the system is so backlogged”, and “The State would not want to go to trial on this case!” I again had hope!! She was even willing to fight hard pushing back against what she believed were unjust terms of my pre-trial release. But due to that start of the COVID 19 pandemic everything was pushed back. During that time, Ms. Athan died unexpectedly. Needless to say I was crushed. Mr. Escobar himself met with me and assured me the firm would continue to fight for me, while waiting for a new lawyer to be assigned. I was so skeptical. How could anyone hold a candle to Ms. Athan?? Enter John Grant III !!! That man is a fighter and dedicated to his clients!!! Mr. Grant assembled a team, including other attorneys, a behavior analyst, a top-shelf forensic psychologist, a forensic computer expert and an esteemed retired, veteran police detective as a private investigator. The psychologist was not some “hired gun” for the defense either. This was a professional who often works for the State and is well respected by Judges and prosecutors. The team was able to show that I was not near the scene of the many of the alleged offenses and they all reached similar conclusions, that I was not guilty of the charges against me. Mr. Grant was able to uncover multiple instances where the police officer in charge was not "telling truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth." Despite Mr. Grant’s efforts, the State refused to drop the charges owing in part to political pressure to prosecute charges of that nature and a high-profile target. Mr. Grant “gave them hell.” Just prior to the trial, there was a conference in which the state acknowledged there were “problems with the case, problems with their witnesses and evidentiary issues”. As a result, they made an offer that was for probation only. Quite a step down from the rest of my life behind bars that I was originally facing. Still, I wanted to fight. Mr. Grant was more than willing to go to war along with me. My family and concerned professionals urged me to take the probation. They advised it was the safest/quickest way to reunite me with my family. I was advised, that if the verdict resulted in a hung jury it could me another trial and another 100k or so spent. I was told that if even one count came back guilty that I would be worse off than probation. Begrudgingly, I took the plea. Even after the plea, Mr. Grant still continues to help fight for me. We were granted several concessions. I am hopeful that new information will come out and I can file a motion to vacate and fully clear my name. I am very grateful to have John Grant III and Escobar & Associates. HIRE THEM! I have seen what happens when lesser lawyers take a case.

Exceptional lawyer delivering great results

The first time I met John he made it a point to address me by my name. He genuinely got to know me as a person. He told me the end goal at our first meeting and he delivered big time. Up until I met John, I had never been in any trouble with the law. I was looking at 10 to 15 years due to a very unfo...rtunate incident and while all hope was lost, John came through and brought the facts to light. His attention to detail, tenacity, wit, grit, stamina and composure is unmatched. He surrounded me with such care and helped me navigate through 3 years in court. John fought for my freedom and won. This is no exaggeration, John is an exceptional lawyer and he gets the job done, he goes the distance and delivers great results.
