Biography
Cary Gaylord has represented property owners in virtually
every type of eminent domain case in most of Florida's 67
counties and Florida federal courts. He authored numerous
articles, including chapters in Nichols on Eminent Domain
and a chapter in The Florida Bar’s Florida Eminent Domain
Practice and Procedure. He served as Chairman of The Florida
Bar Eminent Domain Committee and currently serves,
by appointment of the Governor, on the Judicial Nominating
Commission for the 13th Judicial Circuit. He recently
participated in the U.S. Military Academy’s National Conference
on Ethics in America. He graduated from West Point
and the University of Florida College of Law and is a former
Army Ranger. He was elected by his peers to the American
Board of Trial Advocates and holds Martindale-Hubbell’s highest
rating for legal skill and professional ethics.
