I was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Stetson University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. I was one of the few students in Stetson University’s history to be accepted into the 3 + 3 program, which is an accelerated track that allows students with outstanding credentials to be approved for early admission to the Stetson College of Law. While pursuing my Juris Doctor Degree at Stetson College of Law, I served as secretary of Stetson’s Hispanic Bar Association. Being the mother of a young child, I understand the emotional strain that divorce and custody proceeding have on parents. I strive to be a caring and compassionate attorney while zealously advocating for my client’s rights. Additionally, I am fluent in Spanish.

She is one of the best lawyers in Tampa. I was very pleased of her work, very professional. She always responded my questions And explained everything in detail, so I could understand. She is efficient, she knows the laws well . I will recommend her highly . I was very lucky that I was represent...

Do yourself a favor and don't hire this attorney
The most honest review I can write about Mrs. Gimenez is to mention what she accomplished in my case. I was a stay-at-home parent for the whole duration of my long-term marriage (18 years), and my ex was the breadwinner parent making over 300k a year. I had no working experience in the US and my last...
This client’s characterization of my representation is completely inaccurate. Many of the facts he has stated have also been inflated, however, I will not state the details of the case. I was his THIRD attorney not his first. He is upset because he was awarded attorney's fees for my services and I have initiated court action to collect them, since he is not cooperating with ensuring I secure the funds. He is writing this review as retaliation, since his threats to report me to the Florida Bar failed to intimidate me, as I am confident in my handling of the case. I did not and would never make a decision on behalf of my client without their consent. However, I do not allow a client to dictate how I preform or manage my services. This client with my assistance freely and voluntarily entered into a parenting plan and marital settlement agreement, which he signed. The only issues that remained for the court were alimony, which was not favorable and attorney's fees, which he was granted. The issues were addressed at separate hearings. Although Judge’s do make bad decisions, the denial of alimony was due to a combination of issues, reflected in the court’s judgement. The client’s claim and persistence of alleging parental alienation was in my professional opinion not relevant to the limited issue on the attorney's fees before the court at the time. However, I agreed to somewhat present the claim, it was this client’s repeated insults, putting words in my mouth as he has done above, and making demands I was not comfortable with, which led to my withdraw. I not only prepared for hours but also have hundreds of emails to this client advising on the case, which were based on law and experience, not just an opinion. Ultimately you can not please everyone, and all family law attorneys know there are no guarantees in family law.

You need someone that knows the Law!!!
I was previously divorced by another attorney. I needed to get back to court and correct some things concerning Child Support. I needed someone who believed in me and worked for me . Jessica did just that. My oldest is 22 and my youngest is 18 and let’s just say my youngest is still receiving suppo...

Horrible
Hired Jessica back in 2018, had last minute notice of my emergency hearing, couldn't physically attend because of the last minute notice (that i should of had ample time to not only respond to but also attend). Then she proceeded to go to this hearing without the any of the proof i gave her to object...
Unfortunately, since this is posted anonymously, I am unable to accurately respond and refute these allegations. However, I believe I have an idea of which case this could be based on the limited details provided and my review of new clients in 2018. The notice of the hearing was actually sent directly to the client prior to my representation and provided 2 weeks' notice of the hearing. The client resided out of state and therefore believed it was short notice, however, she was granted the ability to appear by phone. The client was unhappy a hearing was set so quickly, despite my explanation of the process when an emergency motion is filed. This person also does not comment on the results of the hearing, which the opposing side's emergency motion was denied despite my lack of "savviness". Retainers are not refundable which is clearly stated on the contract, especially once work has been completed and the client unreasonably terminates services because their capability to understand the court's procedural process are limited.

Always My First Recommendation
I've used Ms. Gimenez as my attorney for two cases and have recommended her services to a handful of friends. What I appreciate most about her as an attorney is that she's not aggressive or a bully. Everyone believes that what they want and need is a pompous attorney who's going to over promise, unde...
