Results-Oriented Attorney with Ethics

I am very pleased to have retained the services of Ms. Mentor for a family law matter. Her decades' worth of legal experience proved invaluable to bringing my case to a favorable conclusion. She is very strategic and tactical in achieving stated goals and, equally as important, performed in a very e...thical and compassionate manner. She is definitely not a clock-watching attorney looking to bill for every second of her time or charging a proverbial arm-and-a-leg for admin/clerical services. Ms. Mentor genuinely cares about her clients, not only about the achieving successful outcomes but also treating you compassionately as a person instead of just another case. I highly recommend her, without any reservations.

Satisfied client

Karen Mentor is a great lawyer on a tight budget. I hired her for my divorce. Her professionalism and knowledge about my divorce were beneficial. She did all the paperwork and took the guesswork out for me. I felt comfortable with her handling many of the details of my divorce. She negotiated a go...od outcome for me from the divorce. She was able to work desperate the challenges of the difficult Covid times. I recommend her to my friends.

Divorce

I hired Karen for a divorce she was very knowledgeable and friendly. She was always there to answer any questions I might have along the way and made sure I felt comfortable through the whole process. I am glad I chose her to represent me and I highly recommend using her.

5 start Immigration Lawyer. L1 visa renewed in less than 2 weeks.

I am here in US with an L1 visa but was only given 1 year. As we are about to reach 6 months I reached out to my previous lawyer who helped us with initial L1 but unfortunately she moved to another firm and no longer practice immigration. But she was graceful enough to refer me to Karen Mentor. At fi...rst I feel disappointed as to change lawyers but then from the get go Karen made me feel at home. From the initial phone consultation you can tell why she is highly recommended by her peers. She has been in this field for over 25 years and still work as if its her first case. She is very passionate in helping us getting our L1 visa renewed. My case is quite complicated as it involves a lot of business technicality and it require thorough study and analysis. But with Karen, she always make it feel there is a solution to every situation. My worries was at ease every time I talk to her. You will not get the most personalised service in any firm. You probably just be dealing with secretaries or paralegals. But with Karen, she can always be there even on weekends. She is not there to sell you her service, she is there to make sure your American dream is a reality. She serves with passion and with a heart. I HIGHLY recommend Karen Mentor. She is nothing but the BEST!

Easy communication, thorough work, good guidance through process. I could not have chosen a more professional lawyer to guide me through the process.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
