I hired Mr. Port almost 7 years ago and he explained everything my wife and I needed know about a bankruptcy and how it worked. He filed a chapter 13 for us, and after 5 years our debt was cleared. In May of 2017 we were going to have a closing on our house that we sold, and the attorney that was han...dling the closing for us, told us we had to get a cleared document from was of the banks stating that there was a zero balance for that loan. Even though I had all the correct documents from the courts showing that loan was cleared, they would not accept it. We then called Mr. Port's office, that we have not contacted for 7 years, and explained the problem we were having. Lorenna Morales returned our call, and said thet would pull up the old files, and check into this problem. They sent us paper work showing that the paperwork for that loan was closed and that would be sufficient for the closing. We were still told that this was not good enough. Mr. Port then called me himself, and again explained the problem, and he stated that his office was putting a lot of time an effort into this problem, but he would still try and help us. This was approximately a week of back and forth calls to his office. Well, I don't know what Mr. Port did, but that next day, he called us back and said the problem was solved with the other attorney and that we would now be able to have our closing on our house. Shortly after Mr. Ports call to us, we received a call from the closing attorneys office, telling us that they had everything now to go on with then closing. Thankyou Mr. Port and your wonderful staff for helping us in a time of need. You and your staff are the best. By the way, he also told me when we spoke, that his office also did house closings. If had known that before, he would have handled everything for us. Thankyou so much for your help. I have already told many friends and family about your services.

Filed Bankruptcy, letters were sent to wrong addresses, wages and or taxes garnished. I first met with Mr. Port around April-May of 2012 to discuss Banruptcy so that he would have ample time to review my case. I even paid in full. He advised that we would not begin my proceeding until December of 201...2. Well 4 months later on April 4th 2013 we were finally in bankruptcy court and the Trustee said my Income Tax Return was waived. After the hearing I asked Mr. Port if I should now file my tax return after being instructed not to do so prior. Going thru a bankruptcy is hard enough to pay for when you cant even buy food for the table. I was awaiting a tax return to fix my broken car that was our only means of transportation. Mr. Port said "go ahead and file your return, there will be no problems" witnessed by an unnamed man that he was also his lawyer. So I went home excited about the news and filed my income taxes and called several garages to fix my transmission, bald tires, and several other things wrong with our family car. On April 10th I received a letter from the IRS stating that one of the creditors that were listed on my Bankruptcy were taking my whole tax return. I first called Mr. Ports office which always goes to an Ian, and he advised I call the creditor. I called the Creditor and they said they had no such record of my Bankruptcy on file or they would have pulled the order to withhold my income tax. I called "Ian" again and asked him to ask Mr. Port. After several weeks of hearing nothing I called "Ian" and asked him what was going on. He said. "If you want to persue this further you will have to pay us to investigate it. I already paid $2000+ dollars for asset protection and they want to charge me more after letting my assets get seized because they sent the paperwork to the wrong address? Now they wont help me without money, which I have none or else I wouyldnt have filed for Bankruptcy. I am a %100 disabled veteran living on disability trying to keep up on my rent and food bills.
