Jules Ralph Mabie Jr.

Mr. Mabie represented us when an unscrupulous attorney (since disbarred) sued us for breach of contract. When he saw the case, Mr. Mabie suggested that he represent us for a very reasonable flat fee. He never wavered on his obligation to us. The other attorney tried every obstacle she could think of,... thinking that we were paying an hourly rate. Mr. Mabie took it to her on every detail, and at trial, she crumbled. When I mentioned to Mr. Mabie that he had done much more than the flat fee covered, he replied "a deal is a deal" and would not accept any additional money. The other attorney was eventually disbarred in 2014 after wronging numerous other clients. We will be ever grateful to Mr. Mabie and his firm. Ask around before you choose a lawyer. Do not accept a rating service that can be easily manipulated by someone with a personal vendetta.

Attorney Ralph Mabie took my case with not a whole lot of time to prepare. Using another inept attorney, my case had been dragging on for quite a long time with my ex-husband and his attorney trying their best to one, take my children away from me and two, leave me without any money. Mr. Mabie not ...only made sure I have my children forever on a 50/50 percent time basis but also made sure I will receive the money I will need to help raise them. I will forever be grateful to Mr. Mabie....he is professional, proficient, kind and I believe, an excellent attorney. I will not hesitate for a second to recommend him to anyone.

Jack, You are mistaken by suggesting I am trolling and using the Internet to be anonymous in libeling Mr. Mabie. I am using this service to give an honest opinion of my experiences with Mr Mabie to allow prospective clients the opportunity to hear my story and decide if this is someone they want ...to get involved in. Since I wrote my initial review I have met several other people who used Ralph Mabie as a divorce attorney who had similar experiences. I stand by my initial review that Ralph Mabie is an over litigator whose role at Vernis and Bowling is to generate as much income as possible with little regard for the net result of his clients. If you experience was different good for you, perhaps you have the financial means to throw endless resources at your lawyer, I didn't.

Mr. Mabie is a terrible attorney whose goal is to over litigate cases for the sole purpose of generating income for his law firm. He will drag your case out to a ridiculous level, will never accept an offer from opposing counsel even if it is a great offer. He will take a minimal retainer so you thin...k it is a good deal, in my case he insisted my ex would get stuck paying my legal fees and encouraged me to drag it out. I am do disappointed in his conduct and eventually I got a terrible settlement from the judge, and I could have taken a better offer early on, but was advised to hold out by Mr Mabie, I would never recommend this lawyer to anyone. By the way I got stuck paying my own legal fees which ended up being over $20,000.
