Kevin Frawley Moot

As a graduate of the University of Notre Dame Law School and as a former prosecutor, attorney Kevin F. Moot possesses extensive experience and training in the fields of criminal law and trial practice.  

As a prosecutor in Palm Beach County, Florida, Mr. Moot rapidly earned a reputation as a passionate and skilled trial attorney.  With his successful and dynamic approach to trial practice, Mr. Moot was quickly elevated to a position in the Major Violent Crimes Division.  During this time, Mr. Moot was trusted to handle some of the most serious, sensitive, and high profile cases in the Special Victims Unit, focusing on sex-related offenses and crimes against children.  Prosecuting these cases provided Mr. Moot with substantial experience in the management of complex and high-stakes litigation.

Before Mr. Moot reached his position in the Major Violent Crimes Division, he had already earned substantial success with his handling of all types of felony and misdemeanor offenses, including D.U.I., theft, fraud, drug possession, stalking, burglary, and assault and battery, among other crimes.  Mr. Moot not only has experience trying these cases, but he also is intimately familiar with the strategies of the Assistant State Attorneys who are responsible for prosecuting these cases. 

Prior to his success as a prosecutor, Mr. Moot graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School, one of the nation’s premier institutions of higher education.  While at Notre Dame, Mr. Moot was twice elected by his peers to serve on the Notre Dame Honor Council and represented Notre Dame in the National Trial Competition, where he and his colleagues finished in the top 4, out of over 300 participating schools.  For his exceptional abilities in the courtroom, the University of Notre Dame bestowed on Mr. Moot the Jon E. Krupnick Award and Scholarship for Excellence in Trial Advocacy.
