About Luis
Biography
Born and raised in Havana, Cuba, I came over to America at a young age with my parents who were willing to abandon what lives they had back home so that I may have a bright future. I knew early in high school that I had to make them proud and that I had a profound interest in practicing law. I attended the University of Florida for my undergrad studies and then pursued my dream of becoming an attorney by applying and eventually graduating from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law.
Today, I practice law in Boca Raton, FL, serving clients all throughout South Florida and occasionally in other areas of Florida. I have the ability to serve the Latin community as I am fluent in Spanish. I have trial and legal experience after working for the prosecutor's office in Jefferson County, Kentucky. Working now as a plaintiff's attorney, I am able to help my clients by being an experienced litigator.

Caring responsive attorney
I had a minor car accident which was completely the other driver’s fault. Her insurance company wanted to partially blame me. I contacted Mr Cartaya and he solved everything quickly and in my favor. I’m so happy I contacted him and only wish I had contacted him sooner. I highly recommended him.
