I worked with Lloyd Golburgh on a DUI case involving my son. Lloyd was very helpful in getting my son and I through this complicated process. When I had questions he answered every question and provided every detail I needed to know. And did I have a lot of questions, Lloyd is very knowledgeable a...bout every aspect of the law and how the court system works. He has a very good rapport with the court house officials which makes the process run a lot smoother. At one point I needed to get a document from the courthouse. I moved 300 miles away so I could not just drive down to the courthouse. Lloyd picked up the document and had it sent to me overnight. This save me a lot of trouble. My experience with attorney Goldburg was note only one of complete satisfaction but a real eye opener to just how much work attoneys do and the extreemes they go through to get the job done. What I'm about to say may come as a supprise, but there was never an occassion that I could not get in touch w...ith my attorney and he could not get in touch with me. In addition, my case was being held up by the responded and he councel for almost 3 years and it took Attorney Goldburg about only about 8 months and thats starting from the beginning to bring my case to a close. Lloyd Golburgh is a horrible attorney. He represented me on a DUI case in which I told him a man on a motorcycle had pulled alongside of my sportscar and kept staring in my window. I sped up to get away from the guy who turned out to be a cop after putting his motorcycle lights on me. I had one glass... of wine that night, was nowhere close to drunk, and did not agree to a breathalyzer test (before one was automatically found guilty for refusing to blow). Lloyd told me there was no way I would be found guilty due to no breathalyzer evidence. I believed him and opted for a jury trial. I was shocked at the poor job he did at representing me. He came off as shockingly cocky and unprepared in the courtroom. I was beyond embarassed to have him as my attorney. I asked him to be sure to bring up in the courtroom that I was trying to get away from a man on a motorcycle who I believed was stalking me, that they had no breathalyzer results on me, and that I had not been charged with reckless driving.. Not only did he fail to represent me on ANY of these crucial defense points, he also failed to inform me prior to going to court that day that if I was found guilty, my drivers license would be immediately suspended on the spot. His representation of me in front of the jury was embarassing beyond words.. I was found guilty and had not brought a driver with me to the court. This was in another county and now I had to drive hom on a suspended license. I was besides myself. (I was sentenced to 10 days of jail time which I opted to do iover five weekends). I was a nervous wreck driving home on a suspended license due to his failure to inform me to bring someone else to court with me in the event that I was found guilty. I believed in Lloyd Golburgh's claim about his supposedly superior legal DUI representation. He is a shameless marketeer and a lousy attorney. Thanks to him, I was convicted of a DUI without any blood alcohol evidence. He wouldn't even return my calls after I was convicted and distraught. As far as I am concerned, he lies to clients, takes their money, and does a horrendous job of representing them. I am convinced that the only reason that he even showed up in court to represent me was due to his oversized and unwarranted ego in trying to make a name for himself in front of a judge whom he had not appeared in front of before (not Broward County) as well as in front of jurors. Potential clients, beware and seek legal cousel elsewhere....he will tell you that the State has no case against you. in order to get your businesess. Mr. Golburgh wants to litigate a case in front of a jury to try to make a name for himself at your expense. I spent 10 days in jail, have a DUI arrest record because of him, and lost a lot of money to him. He hs an arrogant loser of an attorney. He should have been disbarred a long time ago.
