Jason was born and grew up on the New Jersey shore just outside of Asbury Park.  Jason joined Jason H. Haber to form Haber Blank, LLP (formerly Haber, Stief & Blank, LLP) to provide effective and strategic representation to clients.  Prior to establishing Haber Blank, LLP, Jason served as a Broward County Assistant Public Defender, handling all levels of criminal cases ranging from first degree murder to driving under the influence and possession of illegal substances.  Jason has represented clients in dozens of jury trials.  Jason is licensed to practice before all courts in the State of Florida, the State of New Jersey, the United States Supreme Court, the U.S. Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the United States District Court for both the Northern and Southern Districts of Florida.

Jason currently serves as Chair of the Florida Bar's Criminal Law Section, Treasurer of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, a member of the Florida Criminal Procedure Rules Committee, and is a past-President of the Broward Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Jason was very confident in his approach, I found him to be firm but fair when we discussed my case, he didn't sugar coat it and in the end he delivered. Best in South Florida
If you want law firm that is easily intimidated then don’t use Jason Blank. But if you want a professional beast then you’re in the right place. Jason responds quickly and knows the law. He won’t guide you wrong. Jason did not allow Covid to interfere with my case. I’m happy with the outcome of my case.

I’ve enjoyed the politeness from day one with this firm. Mr. Blank moves fast and stays on top of things. It’s sometimes a little difficult to get in contact with him but that’s because he has so many cases to handle but regardless of the contact or not he will still be in court for you. My case was settled fast and the results were in my favor.

Jason was very thorough with the numerous cases he has worked on for me including traffic tickets, among others. He has been able to successfully get 2 of my tickets dismissed with no points on my license, which is more than I could have asked for! Excellent experience
I hired Jason Blank to represent my teenage son for riding a moped without a license. From our first conversation I felt at ease. He explained all the possible scenarios and took us step by step through the process. The part that stood out the most to me was the way he treated my son. He showers a genuine interest in his life, future, and what had happened. He really turned an awful situation into an eye opening lesson.

Motion to travel
I hired Mr. Blank to help me obtain permission to travel with my son to Orlando. I’m currently on probation. Mr. Blank filed the motion and within just a few days I had a court date. We stood in front of the Judge for a few moments and I had my permission to travel. Awesome work!!!

Mr. Blank makes it happen!
Jason Blank is by far one of the best criminal defense attorney’s in south Florida. I had an ongoing case, which I had a couple attorneys prior to Mr. Blank. Once he took over my case, I was more at ease. He is confident and also very well respected in the court room. I was able to get off early term probation and move on with my life. I recommend anyone who needs a criminal attorney to hire him. He is worth every penny.

Aggressively seeks justice...

Incredible Attorney
Jason Blank's firm handled my "Stand Your Ground" case in a manner I was not expecting from a law firm. I was treated like I was there only client and that I was part of a family. Jason's dedication to me and my wife were outstanding. The day of court when our motion was heard the questioning, objections and closing arguments were incredible. This was my first time ever needing to have an attorney in this way and I feel like Jason was able to give me my life back. I'm 48 years old and never faced criminal charges before;I have a new hero and that is Jason Blank. Another note to add is the cost, I never felt that we were nickled and dimed at every turn. Great Election Lawyer
Jason and his firm represented me as the Democratic candidate for state house District 89 during the 2018 election recount process. Jason Blank represented me in a case where charges were wrongfully brought against me. These charges threatened my career which I have worked very hard for. Jason assured me from day one that he would handle the matter. I found Jason Blank to be a competent, diligent professional. My only regret is not hiring Jason Blank sooner. Within 7 days of hiring him I was in front of the judge receiving my early termination from probation. I will be referring Jason to all my friends.
