Biography
In 2006, Ms. Lauriston began honing her legal skills and her reputation as a skillful attorney, while working as an Assistant State Attorney with the Broward State Attorney’s Office, widely regarded as one of the toughest prosecuting attorney’s offices in the State of Florida. In that capacity, Ms. Lauriston served in various divisions and prosecuted over a thousand cases, ranging from traffic criminal infractions to serious felonies, including burglary and robbery, DUIs, theft and fraud charges, drug possession, prostitution and battery. In 2009, Ms. Lauriston left the Broward State Attorney’s office and co-founded Lauriston & Smart, LLC, and thereafter founded Lauriston Law Firm, where she now represents clients in family, personal injury and criminal matters.
