Biography
I am Gustavo E. Frances, a Fort Lauderdale attorney who represents people facing Family Law issues. I also handle civil legal matters, like car accidents and condominium law issues. I help people with certain criminal cases when they need it, on a case by case basis.
I graduated from Florida International University in Miami with a B.A. degree in criminal justice, and earned my law degree from St. Thomas University School of Law, in Miami, where I graduated with honors.
I worked as an assistant public defender for three years before starting my own law practice. During that time, I defended hundreds of defendants with cases ranging from misdemeanors to first-degree felonies. I became familiar with many of the prosecutors and judges, and I use my knowledge to help my clients make smart choices about their own legal situations.
I have never been a pencil pusher. I am a fighter, and I fight hard to help you get the best possible results in Florida courts.

Doesn't get any better.

Glad I hired this lawyer
I don't think another lawyer could have given me a better result. He really avoids the drama and works diligently to resolve the case. I think that he really cares about what is best for his clients and he always makes sure that the children are taken care of.

Family oriented lawyer
I sat down with alot of lawyers and everyone seemed to be more interested in money. Mr. Frances took the time to have a detailed consultation and seemed to really care about how I felt. He was very helpful with payment plans and made me feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation.
