David Michael Carnright

DAVID M. CARNRIGHT practices in the areas of Insurance Litigation, Foreclosure Defense, Labor and Employment Litigation, Receiverships and Security litigation, Bankruptcy and Creditor’s Rights, Complex Business Litigation and Commercial Litigation. Prior to founding CARNRIGHT VELASQUEZ PA, Mr. Carnight worked for Damian & Valori LLP, a prominent Miami-based law firm.

Mr. Carnright is a current member of the The Florida Bar, Cuban American Bar Association, Dade County Bar Association and The Lawyers Section of the Belen Alumni Association.

Mr. Carnright received his law degree from Fordham University School of Law (J.D., 2010) in New York City, where he served as a writer for the Corporate and Financial Law Review. He was a member of the Latin American Law Students Association (LALSA) and Research, Education and Advocacy to Combat Homelessness (R.E.A.C.H.), an organization dedicated to providing assistance the less fortunate members of the New York City community.

Before attending law school, Mr. Carnright graduated with honors from the University of Miami (B.A., 2007) with a Bachelor of Arts degree, double-majoring in both Political Science and International Studies. He also minored in Business Law.
