About Jason
Biography
Jason Pensky, Esq., is one of Pensky & Kim's founding partners. Over the years, he has handled thousands of cases ranging from misdemeanors, to murder cases, to million-dollar insurance defense and medical malpractice cases. He has taken over 40 cases to trial, and has extensive experience practicing in Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and throughout Florida.
Mr. Pensky, who is originally from the Bronx, New York, has a distinguished educational and professional history. He went to college at Hofstra University, and then went on to study at Pace Law School where he was the captain of the Trial Advocacy Team. Upon coming to Miami, he served for over four years as Assistant Public Defender for the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office, and then joined the law firm of Restani & McAllister to practice big-money insurance defense and medical malpractice law. During this time, he also served as Adjunct Professor in Criminal Justice at Florida National College. He later co-founded the firm of Pensky & Kim where he has continued to use his legal expertise to fight aggressively for his clients.
Mr. Pensky is a member of the Florida Bar and the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (Miami). He is also an accomplished actor, having appeared on television in shows such as Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and As the World Turns, and having performed in several off-Broadway plays.
