Philip Kim, Esq., is one of Pensky & Kim’s founding partners. Over the years, he has handled thousands of cases ranging from criminal defense cases (state and federal), to evictions and other landlord/tenant disputes, to personal injury cases. He has tried well over 100 cases and has compiled an impressive trial record.

Mr. Kim is originally from the Philadelphia area. He attended college at the University of Pennsylvania, and then went on to study at the University of Michigan Law School. Over the years, he has worked as a legal assistant for the law firm of Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer, & Feld, interned for the Department of Justice, and clerked for the Public Defender Service in Washington, D.C. Upon coming to Miami, he served for three years as Assistant Public Defender for the Miami-Dade County Public Defender’s Office, and then went into private practice with the founding of the Law Office of Philip Kim in Miami Beach. He later co-founded the firm of Pensky & Kim where he has continued to use his legal expertise to fight aggressively on behalf of his clients.

Mr. Kim has been a member of the Florida Bar since 2003 and has no disciplinary history whatsoever.

Wow. Wow. Kim is amazing! It is so rare to find a phenomenal attorney and I stumbled on GOLD!! Kim is very prompt with all the tasks that he needs to complete and more importantly he keeps me in the loop at ALLLLLL TIMES!!! Awesome Law firm, highly recommended.

Great firm with great attorneys!

I am a property manager in Miami-Dade Florida and I have been using Pensky & Kim for all my landlord-tenant litigation since 2014. In that time attorney Philip Kim has handled dozens of eviction cases as well as litigation for damages against naughty residential tenants. Attorney Kim is the most dedicated communicator I have ever dealt with! Inquiries receive immediate replies, whether by phone, email or SMS. I won't dwell on his 100% success rate in tenant removals since those cases are generally pretty cut-and-dry, but his constant vigilance in monitoring cases, his willingness to go the extra mile to keep the client informed and his skill in dealing with a bunch of idiot defendants over the years has earned him my highest regard.

I retained Mr Kim to help me evict a tenant from my rental house in central Florida. My relationship as a client went very smoothly. He was easy to talk to in our phone conversations and at no time did I feel uncertain or anxious in the process. Best eviction/caring lawyer!

After calling many eviction lawyers, to find out about the process and prices. I came across Attorney Kim. I was very impressed how informative and friendly he was over the phone . He spent a good 20 minutes listening about my specific situation with my tenat and then explaining the whole eviction process. His legal fees are fair compared to other offices. He was always informing us by text, email, calls and always available for any questions. He made the whole process easier!! Very happy with his sevice. I cant recommend him enough. If you are looking for an eviction lawyer just give him a call and find out for yourself. You will not regret it!!
