Jennifer C. Pratt, Esq. is the co-founder and owner of PraDa Law (formerly Pratt Law), a law firm dedicated to achieving excellent results for its clients in a variety of areas of law. Mrs. Pratt graduated cum laude from the University Of Miami School Of Law in 2010. She has been named to the 2018, 2019 and 2020 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. She is an experienced litigator practicing in the areas of immigration, family law, personal injury, real estate and more. At Pratt Law, we provide personal attention to each one of our cases; we truly care about every one of our clients.
Mrs. Pratt has appeared before county and circuit courts all over Florida in Miami-Dade, Broward, Monroe, Orange, and Palm Beach Counties handling cases in civil, family, criminal law and complex business litigation. Mrs. Pratt also handles federal litigation in the Southern District of Florida, representing clients in various aspects of bankruptcy both as a consumer attorney (chapter 7) and creditor’s attorney (filing adversary complaints and proofs of claim). Mrs. Pratt has extensive knowledge in pursuing and defending post judgment collections matters. Mrs. Pratt has also represented clients in arbitration proceedings with the American Arbitration Association. In addition, Mrs. Pratt handles all sorts of immigration matters such as family-based petitions, UVISA/VAWA, waivers, bond hearings, removal proceedings defense, and more.
In addition to her litigation work, Mrs. Pratt has an impressive transactional practice that focuses on collaborative law, pre-suit settlements and mediation, contract review and negotiations in business and entertainment matters, start-ups, collections, and more. If you are looking to resolve a legal issue outside of court, Mrs. Pratt is the attorney for you. Mrs. Pratt understands that court, including the fees and costs associated with same, sometimes is not for everyone or every type of case. Mrs. Pratt is involved in her community by holding board positions with different community associations, both in and outside of the legal industry. Mrs. Pratt feels strongly about volunteering her time to matters she cares about such as the Best Buddies organization and local toy drives during the holidays that cater to the most disadvantage children in her community. As the daughter of Colombian immigrants, she strives to give back to those less fortunate in a variety of ways, including donating money to different charities and causes.
Mrs. Pratt is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, the Southern District of Florida (federal), and the Northern District of Texas.

Judgement Settlement
Hired Jen to negotiate a judgement on a property being sold. Not only was she able to get the debt settled prior to closing, she was also able to negotiate the payoff to 50% of the original amount. Saved me $9k! Would recommend and use again in the future.
