I originally signed up with Legal Shield to help me with a business matter that required a document review and revision. After being transferred through their network of lawyers over a course of two weeks, I reached out to Tori to see if she could help me with what I needed completed. After an initia...l call and an understanding of what I needed, I decided to hire her because I now had a short timeframe to complete this task and she quoted me less than what the Legal Shield’s referral lawyers quoted me. Also, it didn’t hurt that I’ve known about Tori’s practice through my business contacts for some time, but never had a need to hire her until now. Ms. Anderson was extremely helpful in establishing a variety of businesses for me. She assisted me with starting a nonprofit organization, a for-profit company as well as an investment company. Her expertise was diverse and I was genuinely impressed with her wealth of knowledge. She created a templat...e of bylaws to be used by the nonprofit organization and thoroughly reviewed and edited them with my partners and me. Ms. Anderson was critical in helping me identify legal risk and evaluating the benefits and disadvantages to establishing various for-profit company options. When my group of friends decided to create an investment company, Ms. Anderson came to the rescue again and created a draft of the bylaws, explained the need for and created a partnership agreement and ultimately exceeded our expectations by researching investment groups and provided reputable investment group options. She also offered additional tax and filing advice. Ms. Anderson went well above and beyond her call of duty and obligations. Ms. Anderson is certainly a lawyer that I will recommend and continue to work with in the future. She was very professional and most importantly prompt in her responses and empowered me as she did a great job of teaching me throughout the process. Ms. Anderson used the expected legal jargon, however, she was able to spend time to ensure I fully understood the requirements, obligations and contracts.
