I do not write many reviews online but in this case I feel it extremely necessary to comment on my experience with Attorney Arturo Alfonso. I have personally dealt with several family attorney's over the past years in my divorce and time sharing cases which were very complicated and very lengthy. Man...y attorney's were sub par in my opinion. There are thousands of Lawyer's to choose from in the Miami area, and there are only a handful of them that actually care about you and your case. There are only a small fraction that will take the time to really listen to you and your needs as a client and offer sound advice. Most family lawyers do not offer the quality service that Arturo Alfonso offers, he came up with a game plan that worked in my complicated situation. Arturo is extremely knowledgable in Family Law and when asking questions you can tell that he knows his stuff hands down. I have seen him interact with other clients as well and you can tell he takes hsi time with each and every client and does not brush you to side or make you feel like your just another case. He is a great listener and he will actually bust his butt to fight for you and your case. He handled both my divorce several years ago and handled a difficult timeshareing case for me as well, from what I witnessed, because he has been in practice for so long he knows many of the Judges and attornies in Miami and has a great relationship with many of them which is a huge benefit in court. Another thing I love about Arturo is that his door is always open, he has never made me feel unimportant and has always kept appointments and answered my calls and emails in a timely fasion. He is not located downtown like many lawyers making it a nightmare to go see, his office is conveniently located on Coral Way which is so much better than sitting in all of that traffic downtown to go see your lawyer. I have always had access to him when ever I had questions or concerns. If you are looking for a "Cream of the Crop" Family attorney who is also very understanding and affordable this is YOUR GO TO FAMILY ATTORNEY HANDS DOWN.

I hired Arturo a year ago for a very complex child support modification case. Arturo from the beginning was very approachable, easy to reach and dedicated to the case. His years of experience and knowledge was extremely valuable to my case. After a contested year, 2 attorneys litigating the case agai...nst us, my petition prevailed and the modification was granted. I Highly recommend Arturo as an attorney.

When we initially met Mr. Alfonso, there were no red flags and we felt o.k. that we had found an attorney to file our chapter 13 bankruptcy. He gave us a list of documents he would need to include our budget for monthly expenses. After his review of our budget, he estimated that our monthly payment ...would be around $180 dollars. As the weeks went by it became evident that Mr. Alfonso was not familiar with the Chapter 13 bankruptcy process by his continuous change of documents needed. We had a tight budget but could afford the 180 dollars a month. However, by the end of the process the bankruptcy payment ballooned to over $380 dollars. Had we known this from the start we would have found other means for our financial difficulties. Furthermore, Mr. Alfonso was extremely unprofessional when speaking with us stating derogatory comments about our spending habits. We most definitely would not recommend this attorney for chapter 13 bankruptcy.
